Went on holiday to Edinburgh and tried Cafe Tehran out, it was incredible! The shop is clean and adorable, staff was extremely friendly. They made me the best turmeric latte of my life! Cashier was even so kind as to pop a few cardamom tea bags in with my food as I had mentioned it was my favorite and we cannot find it in the US. One of the pictures attached is of me lost in another world while eating the baklava. We were pressed for time so did not get to enjoy the other menu items but they offered an impressive selection of English and Iranian cuisine. Visited Café Tehran and absolutely loved it! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a delicious Tehran breakfast and avocado & eggs toast — both were fresh and full of flavour. The peaceful atmosphere, soft music, and rain outside made it feel extra cozy.
The art and decor beautifully showcase Iran’s rich culture and traditions — truly inspiring. Only wish they stayed open a bit longer, especially on weekends.
