Cheeky Chicken — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

I never complain about places, or write any review but today is wrong no to do it, we had such an awful experience..first we've been waiting for our food for ages, so by the time the food got here we all were starving. To be fair my veggie burger was alright but everything else was horrible! Wrong sauces, they forgot one of the juice, just two small pieces of chicken on the wraps and not even that much salad so I don't even know how to call that and chips were really bad, hard and cold like they re-fried them too many times, honestly worst chips I've tried in my life. We were really hungry cos we couldn't even eat them so we decided to call the shop and tell them about or situation and they didn't have anything better to say that we are liars, really? We were not being rude and that is what we got back...so let me advice you, if you don't want to waste your money don't even think about to order a single thing from...

Terrible! -10 Firstly they called and I was asked if I spoke Arabic as the man's English wasn't great. I then couldn't understand anything he was saying. Food didn't arrive and I was told they didn't get my order and then that they did but it was delivered. The following day the delivery driver turned up at my door trying to communicate that he had seen a note I had put on my door for Amazon parcels. The note read - leave the parcel in the bin beside door if there is nobody in. The driver said he gave the food to the neighbour and kept knocking on my neighbours door getting frustrated. I eventually had to tell him to go as we where getting nowhere. Today I found my 3 day old takeaway in the bin beside my door....shocking. I did not get my money back for this either. Don't bother ordering...

If you want to lose weight while eating fried chicken this is the place to go (your appetite will be absolutely killed for the rest of the day). The place is quite rundown but no one cares about that but the problem is you can tell the chicke was marinated for 3 days+ and was not fresh. You can also tell the oil was very old from that smell and the smell of it was horrid (and I doubt it's high quality oil or anything). But if you take a bite the chicken is actually so tender and crispy. Wasted potential to say the least. Even If they double the price but keep the quality of materials and hygiene up the place would be so much better. Overall the fried chicken had great flavour and great texture but the weird smell from the oil and freshness of the ingredients drag it...
