Kebab Express — Local services in City of Edinburgh

After multiple times of trying to contact the restaurant by phone and email to discuss my experience I was left with no choice to just share this review and hopefully be reached out by management.

After a night out my girl friend ordered on JustEat some food, when the driver arrived to my door, he aggressively said to me to check my phone next time I order food, I told him what was his issue, he then continued to be very aggressive and telling me he could not reach and find the address, I told him the address is very easily found on sat nav and google and we order a take away 2 times a week so perhaps the issue lays with him. He then started to shout at me and started to swear at me which I decided to close the door on him.

This was the first time ever I experienced this kind of behaviour from the driver and it left me feel uneasy, therefore it leaves me with no choice to leave this poor review. The food was good, and everything arrived, its the driver that the restaurant employed made this experience horrible.

I would still seek for management to reach out to me to discuss my experience as this should not happen to anyone, and the aggression I was approached with was rather...

19/4/19: Tried this place because of rave reviews, but found it did not live up to expectations. First they did not know how to cut open a pitta; then their 'salad' was 50% raw onion (do they not know British don't like raw onion & it makes your breath stink); there are lots of other veg you can put in a salad such as cucumber, tomatoes, bell pepper, plus yoghurt, herbs & lemon juice, rather than large chunks of raw onion ! The server claimed the donner kebab slices were lamb (recent investigations have found all sorts of meat incl. chicken in Donner kebabs - only a small % are genuine 100% lamb). This Donner kebab meat was no better and no worse than our local fish & chip shop offering in NW10 so not worth...

Walking home at 1140 at night, realising Kebab Express was closing in 15 minutes I quickly gave them a call, even though they were closing they were perfectly happy to take my order. Not only that, but they were happy to deliver it to the RBS near my house, allowing me to take out money for the delivery. That suprised me that a takeaway would go to that extent to deliver to a place where it's not a specific house address. Honestly great service. Now the donnor wrap I ordered was amazing, was just a right way to end the night. Will definitely be calling again.
