SHOCKING customer service!

I regularly deliver food through Just Eat, so I am very familiar with the process. However, on this occasion, the order never arrived. When I contacted the restaurant to resolve the issue, they refused to take any responsibility and instead placed all the blame on Just Eat. They categorically denied any refund or action, leaving me without food (and hunger!) after 40 minutes of waiting and an additional 40 minutes of unproductive discussion on the phone. Money never back either!

As a business graduate with experience in the industry, I explained that while third-party delivery services may be involved, it is ultimately the restaurant’s responsibility to ensure a reliable service. They choose their partners, and their reputation is directly tied to the customer experience. Despite this, the manager chose not to intervene or offer any form of goodwill, even though this delivery service generates significant profit for them.

Since then, I’ve made a point of sharing this experience widely – word of mouth remains the most effective form of marketing. I hope this serves as a warning to others and, perhaps more importantly, as feedback to the management. Poor decisions and lack of accountability should have...

Absolute joke. If I had ordered on Just Eat I would of requested for my money back. Ordered on their website at 2:30pm and selected the ASAP delivery option.

Was given a confirmation email but then for 30 mins didn’t hear anything and didn’t receive any food. I then called and informed the staff that picked up that the order wasn’t here yet. He said there wasn’t a time specification on the order so it would be 10 mins. That was the worst excuses ever as it clearly stated that I wanted the order ASAP which shouldn’t have taken long considering I live round the corner.

Anyway an hour passed and I didn’t hear anything. After 80 mins I called again and the staff picked up giving the same excuse that there wasn’t a time specification on the order. In most places deliver ASAP is always the fastest option just maybe not here.

At 4pm … 4pm 😳 … an hour and 30 mins wait for some fried chicken … the food finally came. The burger was bland all the food was cold and the fried chicken was not even crispy. The website forces you to get peri salted chips for an extra cost and check the image there’s no peri salt on the chips 🤣🤣 guys are just ripping you off for no reason.

All the bad reviews on this are 100% true. Have no idea how it has any good reviews.

I ordered £30 worth of food - 3 burger meals, chicken wings, chicken bites and chips snack box, and 2 milkshakes.

Waited 90 mins for the order when the estimated time was 35 minutes as i only live 10 minutes drive. When i called to ask why its taking so long they said someone had stole the order they had prepared for me so are having to make a whole new one for the driver, which i do not believe at all.

Then once I received my food i got only 2 burger meals instead of the 3. The burgers were bland, the chicken wings were the worst i’ve ever tasted before as they were just full of salt. They gave me the wrong drinks with the meals and the milkshake were just milk and chocolate powder or something sprinkled on top. Neither tasted of kinder bueno or ferrero rocher.
