Erbil Takeaway — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

I've ordered here 6 times. Everytime the food has been spot on. If its not a Donner, Chips and Cheese, or Munchy Box, then it's a Donner Calzone. Every time, food is brilliant. Always order in advance and collect. Even by the time I'm home, it is still hot and tasty. I only have 2 gripes.

1. Collection time is always set 30 mins away. I just order and go there, and it's always ready...so it could easily be sitting for 20 mins if I went by order time. That should be changed.

2)When ordering a Munchy Box. It's a massive convince to put the can of juice and sauce in the same small plastic bag. People have pockets. For the juice and put the sauce tub with the food. (One time I got home to see the sauce had opened up and the inside of the bag was smothered in sauce and I didn't even drink the can, just chucked in the bin. It could have been avoided)

Other than that, great place. I'll keep coming back. But please take this feedback into consideration too...

Changed my review which was previously 5. Takeaway has been under new management for about 9 months. 1st order after new management had the worst pizza ever. Stopped going there. Went back after about 8 months and explained I was a previous regular but was put off by the last order. The owners were apologetic and said they would make sure I had a great order. Chanced it and I gave it a 5 rating/review and thought they had improved over time. Recent ordered again (02/10/25) hoping it was gonna be great like the last order but unfortunately the pizza base was over cooked and dry the cheese on top was under cooked and had a glaze on it. Downgrading this to a 2*. Looks like erbil is hit and miss. Chip portions are small. The guys running this place are friendly enough but the food quality needs to improve and shouldn't need a complaint to make that improvement. Need to look for a decent pizza place now which doesn't cost the earth or stop...

Ordered from here on Uber Eats - delivery was exactly as promised within the window of time that was on the website so we were very happy. Delivery driver was very nice and the food was warm and fresh. The prices were very cheap too for such generous portions.

We had a pizza, garlic bread, mixed shish wrap and chips and the food was quite good overall. While not excellent, it sufficiently filled us up! The pizza was quite impressive from a takeaway and certainly better than Dominos etc, but was very dense. The chips were quite soggy and limp however, and they were too covered in sauce for my liking. My shish wrap was absolutely huge - it would've still been massive if it was just a half! The meat in it was tasty and plentiful, though not that memorable. The garlic bread was nice and doughy, but not garlicky and after a while tasted a bit cardboard-y.

I'd like this takeaway to put a bit more punch and flavour into the food and then it...
