I dislike writing negative reviews which is why I have tried this KFC restaurant four times in the hope that I have just been unlucky. Considering this is a fast food restaurant having to wait on average 10mins for food is disappointing, but I appreciate that a lunch time rush means everyone is busy but still it is an excessive amount of time to wait. As I watched other people eventually get their meals the member of staff apologised to them for the wait which in my opinion does go some way to mitigate the issue, however the member of staff who served me neglected to do this which was again disappointing. The food was a mixed bag, the big daddy burger was dry and bland and the chicken piece was soggy, however the beans were delicious. I know much has been written about the fries and I had believed that KFC had improved them however the ones I received were mushy and warm instead of crisp and hot which would have been enjoyable. The chaos of the cramped upstairs serving area, made worst by the crowd of customers waiting patiently for their food distracts from the actually pleasent downstairs seating area which is an enjoyable escape from the hustle and bustle going on upstairs. I have fond memories of KFC from many years back and I hope one day this restaurant will be able to iron out some of the kinks so I...

Just off Princes Street and full of tourists, you'd think this outlet would up its game enough not to languish bottom of the KFC league for filthiness. And believe me, this is no mean feat. Almost all available tables strewn with leftovers: food boxes, drinks cartons, chicken of every variety and more food on the floor than that being prepared in the ovens. The rubbish station was overflowing with garbage too and when I asked a staff member to clean at least one table and chair so I could actually sit and eat my meal, he stared at me agog as if I'd challenged him to explain Pythagoras Theorem. When a worker eventually appeared (20 mins later) it looked as if even a rocket inserted in his jacksy wouldn't have had sufficient propulsion to blast him towards the lowest state of inertia; his slowness was truly impressive, the gusto with which he carried out his duties a sight to behold. As I've mentioned on other KFC reviews, do Environmental Health for Food Safety officers ever visit these dumps? I bet good ole Colonel Sanders is spinning in his eight-piece combo-bucket because of what's happened to his finger-lickin',...

As i walked in a tall guy with brown long hair in a black fleece no hairnet and mask under his chin coughed into his hand. I made my order at the till and watched him. He made no effort to wash his hands or put his mask up. I asked a member of staff if i could talk to the manager, a women with blond hair came and spoke to me from the office. I apologised for this inconvenience i caused and asked explained to her the reason i didnāt want the employee handling my food. She asked me if i wanted the food remade and i explained that i hadnāt got it yet. She said okay and i thanked her and walked away. She asked headed back to the office!! Came back and asked him to put his mask up and thats that. No asking about the washing hands or anything. Yes he didnāt touch the food handed to me. But what about the next person that comes in? Or the employees he is working with. Management needs to action better into things like this at...
