Took my Korean bestfriend along to this Korean Street Food place! And Man, we loved it!!
Love street food? Then look no more, Apparently their corn dog tasted better than the corn dogs in Korea!! It was my first time trying their Corn Dogs and gosh, what an amazing invention!!! Can someone already introduce corn dogs in India please?? 🥹❤️
MUST TRY:
🌟Tteokbokki - A dish that is originally made with rice cakes and dipped in sauce, finger licking good!
🌟 Corn Dog - UNREAL is the word!!!❤️🤤
🌟 Spicy Kimmari - Mildly spiced and not spicy, they’re glass noodles wrapped in seaweed and fried in batter and dipped in Soy sauce
🌟 They’re Kimbaps are freshly made every morning and they sell out soon 🥲I missed eating them as they’re one of their best selling dishes!
🌟Vegan Galbi Mandu - This resembles a dumpling and has a filling and comes with a sauce!! This was soo good!
Half and Half Fried chicken - Korean style fried chicken with sweet and cloy chilli sauce! I wasn't a big fan of this, unfortunately as the chicken sizes were too big and kinda chunky for me!
This is the only place in Edinburgh that serves Korean Street Food and as you can see it is certified by my Korean Bestie!!
Bonus: They’ve got authentic Korean Drinks, I tried Milkis and Grapes flavour, they added small chunks of Grapes in each drink! You should try it to know, cannot...
Read moreWe visited today around 1pm and had a good experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced considering size of portion, quality of food and the location. The drink selection was also good, serving some popular Korean drinks. They do cost more due to being imported but they’re worth trying, especially the cinnamon punch. There was a steady flow of people eating in or doing take away including a number of Korean visitors, which is a good sign. The eating in section is a bar table type of thing along the inside of the shop which was a little small but understandable given the size of the place. Perhaps a different layout might improve things which is why I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5. But overall it was a good place to eat and I’d certainly...
Read moreWe ordered vegetable kimbap, Korean curry with tofu, veg Korean hotdog (corndog). The hotdog was good. The rest of the items were average. The vegetable kimbap was very similar to sushi but was too big to fit in the mouth in one bite. However, we enjoyed the food but might not go back again because of the limited vegetarian options.
The ambience was basic and the place is more like a fast-food joint than a proper dine-in restaurant. They have limited seating but a Korean setup.
You have to self-serve yourself from the counter once your order is ready. They have plenty of cutlery and sauces on the side rack.
It’s easy to locate as it is by the main road.
The staff was helpful and friendly and gave us good recommendations as it was our first time trying Korean.
Give it a visit and decide how...
