Kubo Cafe — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Thought that I'd try this new café as others have raved about it. I wanted to try the coffee and cake before committing to go back and try lunch. Why do cafés close so early; this one closes at 15:30 which means no afternoon coffee and cake unless you go straight after lunch. Anyway, the coffee, I am sorry to say, was terrible. My guest was also very disappointed. I didn't try a cake because there wasn't one that looked anything like a good cake. The interior was "cold", lacking any appeal. Sorry but there are too many good cafés...

Very happy to have stumbled upon this lovely cafe! Loved the food, the atmosphere, and the interior. We had a really nice, quiet time and the service was excellent! Priscilla was wonderful to talk to! The chicken adobo and the dimsums were delicious. The mango smoothie was perfect and refreshing. Very reasonable prices for everything on the menu too. Looking forward to visiting again to try more items...

I stop by here everytime I visit Edinburgh to have their pan de coco (coconut bread) and biko. The food is delicious and have that warm home feel, this place is like being in your favorite friend’s home.
