Not normally a pastry gal & having little knowledge of Greek pasty names & what they actually are, the service from the lady was superb. She explained what things were & that some were the same but just a different shape. Options of hot/cold & choice of dip. Pastry was flaky & not too thick but for me the humous stole the show! It’s as smooth as face cream & I’d actually buy a tub to take home (if possible). Chose 3 take away Baklawa which were packaged well but I felt were nice enough, not with a crunchy top & just ok. A regular pot of tea brought the total to around £17 There are a handful of small tables along the wall. The dark decor makes this nice & cosy as the owner talked in Greek to some friends/family & 1 other customer came in to sit. I image this could feel a bit tight during lunch times with more customers. Definitely not a place for a group or buggies/wheelchairs to sit in. There is take away. Lovely service & I wouldn’t be disappointed to eat here again as a non pastry lover!

Kukina is an absolute gem of a Turkish bakery that I often stop by for a quick bite to eat. Whenever I'm there, I can't resist indulging in their delicious boiled borek, which always hits the spot. But, if you're looking for something a little different, you have to try their Tahini borek, which is an absolute taste sensation. In fact, I'm convinced that everything on their menu is a culinary masterpiece.

Exceptionally great hidden gem. The food is so amazing . Can't tell you how often you walk in to a cafe and the food looks great but doesn't tase good... but please believe me the food tastes divine and authentic and the service is super awsome. We had baklava and some spinach feta Greek pastries which were so amazing. The best chai late I ever had. Awsome place and amazing vibe.

We decided to stop for coffee on our way back down Leith Walk and were drawn in by the wonderful looking pastries in the window. They tasted even better than they looked, and the looked amazing. Lots of different versions of gozleme (think similar to spanokopita) we had spinach and feta and feta and olive, both were delicious and the coffee was excellent too. Really friendly people providing excellent service and clearly still looking after everyone with Covid in mind. I didn't tried the baklava, that is for next time but I know I will have trouble stopping...

Somehow been up and down Leith walk a million times and never spotted this one. I got 3 filled pastries to go. I’ve only had a few bites of the spinach and cheese with humus dip and can already tell this pretty much the height of excellence as far as baked goods go. The lady that served me had a really nice calm and friendly attitude too, that always manages to get me to come back. The place itself is also very cozy and calming. Would love if they had some outdoor tables for the rare dry...
