Morningside Spice — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Myself and my partner ordered from here tonight , it was a disgrace it took 2 hours past it's stated delivery time to be delivered to us . Their excuse was that the restraunt was busy. Where my partner lives is basically down the road if driving so it is just so funny how it can take so long . The raging thing is that we actually thought oh they'll come and sat for ages waiting for two hours , the only thing they offered was a side when we order next time but trust me there isn't going to be a next time . we rang this restraunt a few times before they answered which honestly my opinion is bad service .I think me and my partner quite rightly deserve a full refund for waiting those two hours and honestly for your terrible service and awful food.

Wise warning to anyone ordering here DONT because you'll recieve terrible service , if it was not for the just eat staff kindly helping us we would...

I had booked a table for this restaurant on a Monday evening around 8pm for four people.

We arrived an hour early and the restaurant was clearly busy. We advised that we had booked for 8pm but would be back in an hour and that it wasn't a problem. We went for a drink in the meantime.

We arrived back at 8:15pm so find that the restaurant was still very busy, however, they had seated new people and hadn't left space for our booking.

They didn't acknowledge our arrival and didn't speak to us for 10 minutes. Simply ignoring us in the door way of a very small restaurant.

We ended up leaving after 20 minutes of waiting by the door with no acknowledgement. We headed next door to Clay Oven who treated us...

Really disappointing - firstly they didn't have our table reservation, but fortunately the place was almost empty, then it took over half an hour to get the attention of the staff to make an order (four staff, two tables, but no attention at all). Two hours after arriving, our food arrived. They had got at least one of the dishes wrong i.e. one was chicken not lamb (the other they just said was 'vegetable' and wouldn't say any more, we had ordered balti vegetable, but it wasn't balti...). TThe food was OK, but drinks were super expensive so ended up about £35 per head when only half people had starters.
