⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A celebration of Scottish produce!
What a fantastic find! The Edinburgh Larder lives up to its name by showcasing the best of local, seasonal produce. You can taste the quality in every bite. I had the Eggs Benedict, and it was sublime – the hollandaise was perfectly rich, the bacon was deliciously salty, and the eggs were poached to runny perfection. It felt like a hug on a plate – hearty, satisfying, and expertly prepared.
The coffee was also really good, a perfect companion to the fantastic food. The commitment to supporting local suppliers is admirable and really comes through in the flavour. The atmosphere is cosy and unpretentious, and the service was brilliant. This is the kind of cafe every city wishes it had. A truly wonderful dining experience that I'll be thinking about for a long time. Highly,...

The homemade baked bean were hard and very overpowering in flavour, and not really an improvement on canned baked beans to be honest. The toast was made from lovely seeded bread, but was already spread and absolutely sodden with margarine. Personally, spreading it myself and having actual butter would have been much more preferable. The black pudding, sausage and bacon were all of good quality but the bacon was thick with grease, and the poached egg was tiny….questioned whether that was a quail egg rather than a chicken egg?! Overall opinion was, good ingredients ruined, and a disappointing...
