I was definitely excited to try this place as I have been waiting some middle eastern food for a while. Coming from the Middle East, I know exactly how the food should be made. The restaurant is nice and cozy but the only thing I would change about the interior is to remove the string lights hung on the inside of the entrance, and replace them with something matching the rest of the vibe of the restaurant, but I was here for the food, so moving onto the important part. I started with the hummus and meat, which was good, but definitely not authentic flavors. Next was the cheese borek, which was very disappointing as it was just a basic cheese spring roll with not enough filling, so it felt like a frozen spring roll I would’ve gotten from the supermarket, and it didn’t have the oil properly drained off after frying. I also had the falafel, which were actually delicious and spot on. The bread served with the sides was also excellent! I could have eaten 10 of those breads and been satisfied. The garlic and chilli sauces given on the sides definitely were not matching the style of the food in the restaurant, but more of dominos style sauces. The authentic middle eastern sauces are very easy to make so I would definitely recommend to implement this. For the main course, I had the mixed grill. The meat was definitely delicious and very properly cooked! Definitely the best choice to make, just can’t go wrong with bbq. The sides of the dish included rice and I think some eggplant dish. The rice felt a bit too wet and the grains weren’t as separate as they ideally should be, and the eggplant dish didn’t have flavors from rojava or the Middle East, more of south East Asian flavors. I also had the fattoush salad, which was a decent salad, but it is not how fattoush should be made. My overall review on this place is that it is a good restaurant, but seeing the chefs and workers, I understand why it is not really authentic. It’s more of middle eastern food with southeast Asian chefs adding...

Received a £48.70 Groupon for two gifted from my Son & Daughter in law. Then spent another £30.00 for a third persons main meal and half pint bottle each of Magners & Peroni. The groupon stated choice of starter upto £5.95, Main upto £14.95 & Dessert upto £3.95 PER PERSON which amounted to exactly £48.70.. While looking at the menu to choose our meal we were informed that we could not choose a meal from the main menu and that we had to have the 'Sharing Platter' this was the only option available with the Groupon Voucher, the price of which was not very clear. The Sharing Platter stated it included a cup of Coffee or Tea in the price but we were not served any so had to request two coffees. The starters we chose were only valued at £3.95 each & desserts at £3.95 each. Although I was not happy we accepted the sharing platter otherwise I don't think we would have been served anything. I would not say the portions were anything near substantial and the food was not particularly tasty. My dessert the Baklava was three mouth sized square pieces served with artificial cream from a spray can. We had a Family member who joined us for the meal as a paying guest who had the Lamb Biryani which was the only decent food on the table. When the bill was presented to me we had been charged £5.80 for the two coffees we had requested that were supposed to have been included in the price of the sharing platter. When I queried the charge the girl who had served us said yes but I did not charge you for your desserts. I could not be bothered to argue with this person any more so accepted her comment paid another £30.00 and left. When we were outside another member of the party reminded me that the desserts were actually included in the groupon anyway so she robbed me of £5.80. I had been really looking forward to the meal and found the entire experience very stressful and distasteful. Certainly not worth £78.70, we will not be back and will...

The space and the staff were absolutely great. Unfortunately the food was a huge let down. The falafels and bhajis were overcooked. The staff tried to redo the order but it was still not right. It was surprising that so many people liked the food here especially the Lebanese section. We couldn't dare to eat the main course after this so left. It was on the eve of my son's bday and he was so excited about this place and was quite upset with the experience. Unfortunately would not recommend this restaurant for Lebanese food.

Responding to the owners message: Courteous customers don't pick on things as soon as they enter and we definitely aren't built that way. Hence we kept quiet and ate the food served. Upon the staff asking we mentioned that it was burnt and never expected you guys to reserv The second time around when you guys served us the same food, please note that most 80% of it was left untouched cos that's the only way we could show our disappointment again as it was as still overcooked. When the oil is too hot and u put in the batter it gets burnt on the outside and is undercooked on the inside. If this was our first attempt at eating middle eastern cuisine we wouldn't have known the difference. And being an Indian we definitely know how our bhajjis need to look or taste. If this offends you there is not much that I can do about it. If there is something that we don't like, it is to be said as it is. We clearly mentioned the same to your staff too. Apologies for...

Today we booked to go to this restaurant as a party of 4. I booked online although didn't receive a confirmation. I called the restaurant to advise we were running 30 minutes late and to ask if I could use my tastecard which offer's 25% off your final bill, the gentleman that I spoke with said no problem just come along when we were ready and no problem for using my discount. On arrival the restaurant was very quiet so we asked for some music to be put on to add a little ambience. The food we ordered was ok not great (our first visit here was so much better). When I asked for the bill I mentioned my discount again but it wasn't added so I took my receipt to the desk and the chap took a picture of my QR code and called his manager.....he returned to say when I booked that I didn't mention my TC which I did. Again he went back to the phone and came back again saying I need to give 24hrs notice to use my TC, this isn't true....I have checked the t & c's but there is nothing stayed. I removed my service charge purely for the principle of the matter and I definitely will not return here as this really is a poor show!!!

(My previous review was deleted by the owner, he can´t take any critics. I will add a photo of the bill because they accuse me of being a fake reviewer) No Kurdish food at all (owner and chef are from Bangladesh). They use spices that we don´t use in Kurdistan. They give mast draw with dried mint. When we say that´s not how you serve it they tried to convince us that it´s the original recipe. The jajeek was also made with weird spices and was not tasty at all. They charged us almost 80 pounds and added a tip as well although the service was not good. They gave us soup without a spoon and then disapeared. So we had to drink the soup out of the bowl. Never had such bad food in my life. We all had stomach aches for 2 days and didn´t even finish our meal. The shoarma is from the freezer and was still raw inside. First the waiter says that the owner is Kurdish and later he says that he owns the restaurant from 2017. Would definetely not recommend!
