After we happened on the Wee Coffee Bar one morning we ended up coming back for breakfast almost every day of our stay. The food is excellent and the coffee is great. (I personally recommend the lorne sausage pattie roll with brown sauce). What truly made this place special was Sharon. She is exceedingly kind and clearly cares about her customers and is interested in their well being. The number of smiling regulars from the area coming and going is evidence of her treatment of everyone. Bottom line, it's a well run and much appreciated coffee shop that we will miss. Read moreWe went to Edinburgh to see the tattoo, found this little place so we stopped off for a cheese toastie on granary bread, told no as only doing breakfast ! It was nearly 11am ! Had to opt for a breakfast white roll with a fried egg. When they arrived we were shocked, what we got was a dry roll, no butter or anything , with an egg that was so hard and dry you could have used it as a frisbee, the tea was okay. Very expensive 2 egg rolls & 2 teas. Nearly £15. 2 female staff, one was polite, the other came across as quite rude. Never ever again. I wish I had taken a photo of the dry...
Read moreJust had the Most Gorgeous Bfst in this place. Staff lovely! :) my son said it was a 10/10. We are gutted we didnt find this place yesterday for Bfs as its our last day of our trip today. I am from Scotland, moved to preston met my husband where we now live together with our boy, i was desperate for a Scottish Bfst, a taste of home. Brilliant! When we come back to visit at christmas we will be back! :) keep up the amazing work....
