Review is not for food but service and friendliness.
Mother in law needed to use the restroom badly. It was late in the evening and most shops were closed so we asked the employees if she could use it. They said it was for customers only which is understandable. I offered to buy something, which I didn’t need, to use the restroom and chose the water bottle listed at 1 pound on the menu (clearly visible on their menu). They said total cost would be 2 pounds. I pointed to their listing and they said the additional cost was a service charge. A 100% service charge on a water bottle so she could use the restroom? They don’t care and are blatantly taking advantage of people. I wouldn’t spend my money here.

Update July 30th
The reply below by the restaurant perfectly sums up my interaction with this establishment: no empathy, lies and mockery
Here are the facts:
my mother-in-law did NOT use the bathroom there. She was refused and we needed to find a different place we didn’t argue the fact that the restroom is for customers only. I never said I didn’t understand how a business works we offered to compensate the restaurant for the restroom use we clearly asked to buy something so she could use the restroom when we asked why the service charge was 100%, he said “yes”
It’s pretty glaring that you feel you need to not only completely lie about you allowing her to use the restroom but then feel you also need to say she’s dirty. Wow, not even worth addressing.
Also, where does the service charge show on your menu? The menu is posted on here and I don’t see it.
It’s a business as you say…maybe you should try to make money when someone is offering to pay to use the restroom? 🤔
You’ll never have my business and I hope other customers read this to understand who they are giving their money to: liars and a business who...

The pro is that they didn't overly cater to local taste buds. In fact I see a lot more Asians here.
The con is that the execution isn't decent but not the best. A lot of the things are 70% of the way there
The bun cha sauce could be stronger, although the meat portion is very generous, and there a huge variety as well. On top of the usual pork belly and pork ball, there's also the betel leaf pork
Pho beef broth(upon request) is technically not ideal, it's sweet and intense enough (from strong seasoning) but the beefiness is lacking
Egg coffee is catered to local crowds. It almost taste like a latte, with a custard/cake-tasting foam. Not to say it's not good tho, in fact I secretly enjoyed it, just that this one is nowhere near authentic
Overall it's worth a visit if you miss Vietnamese food or you've never had authentic Vietnamese
Second visit: Beef garlic stir fry with noodles is superb. Very, very moreish
Ca phe sua da was authentic. Avocado smoothie was legit too. A little ex but everything...
Read moreMy friend and I are from East Asia and have eaten in many authentic Vietnamese restaurants before, so maybe this review can lend some kind of credibility, but
This is one of the best Vietnamese food we've ever had. The food is authentic and absolutely amazing. The pho broth is deeply flavourful, ingredients were plenty, portions were great, and the value is unbelievable for the quality. The spring rolls were some of the best I've ever had, it's thick, fluffy, and the ingredients inside were packed of flavour and meat. The banh mi was delicious, everything from the bread to the meat was a delight.
Not to mention the establishment is run by actual Vietnamese people who are very nice and professional. The interior is clean and bright and I can foresee this place being extremely busy in the future, so come while you still can.
It's truly an undiscovered gem since it has just opened for a few months and by the looks of it, it's already gotten perfect scores from many reviews because it's...
