We found this coffee shop/roastery looking for an kilt shop that I was a customer of many years ago.
Initially we didn’t intend to stop, but seen as the part owner Vlad was really friendly and the coffee smelt so good we decided to stay and have a coffee and as a result we retuned every day for the rest of our stay in Edinburgh.
The atmosphere is amazing and we ended up meeting a few of the locals and had great banter and lots of coffee whilst doing this.
We would most definitely recommend this place because they roast their own beans, keep a variety of alternative milks and most of all the atmosphere.

Our stay in beautiful Edinburgh for the Festival would not have been the same without the chance to tumble into this fine establishment every morning to start our day.
There were 9 of us aged 10 to 73, unruly Aussies and a couple of Americans who are really Aussies too. We took up all the space, talked way too much and got in the way of the generous regular locals.
Yet a warm Scottish welcome awaited us every time, our beverages remembered and made before we had time to order, accompanied by quick wit, and humble kind hospitality.
Oh, and did I say amazing coffee!!
