We truly enjoyed our short trip to Edinburgh. This accommodation was a perfect choice for us, as we were looking for a self-catering flat that was as close to the city centre as possible. Although the price was quite high—which we assume was due to the timing and a major event in Edinburgh—the stay was absolutely worth it.
We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful amenities and the friendly service. The flat itself was very spacious with an excellent layout. Cooking was a pleasure thanks to the well-equipped and cleverly designed kitchen, and having the dining table right next to the work surface was a brilliant touch. With fantastic facilities like a washing machine, dishwasher, and oven, plus fresh milk in the fridge and a great selection of teas and coffees, everything had been considered.
The daily room service was a wonderful bonus, and we were pleasantly surprised by the extra details like the illuminated wardrobe, the make-up vanity, and the dedicated recycling box. Last but not least, the fantastic view of the bay from the top floor was an absolute highlight.
The location is also ideal for exploring the city on foot. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a well-equipped and comfortable base for a trip...
Read moreFirst the good, which was the lions share. The standard of the apartment is excellent, everything is pristine and the kitchen is fully equipped, the only thing we missed was a pair of kitchen pincers. By British standard this is a luxury apartment, by Swedish standards absolutely fine. A breakfast was included and also stiff for the washer. Bedroom was comfy and the bathroom great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great, just off Hanover Street in New Town. This also, sadly, connect to the not so good things. We stayed in apartment 7, facing Thistle Street and it was NOISY. There were "lads" "singing" most nights until 3 AM and general "pub noise". Do not pick an apartment facing Thistle Street. The other real disappointment was also in regards to noise. The AC. The AC was TERRIBLE. It was old and made all sorts of weird noises. AC you say. What's he on about? In Edinburgh? Well, despite it's being 18-20°C outside, the apartment was 27 °C so you had to turn the AC on. The AC was also broke when we checked in but that was swiftly fixed. There were no fixing it being...
Read moreWhat an awesome place! 10 out of 10 for everything. The only downside you could say was the parking. However, you can park at the omni centre about half a mile away for discounted rate of £10 for 24 hours. You can unload your baggage by the hotel though. Certainly wouldn’t stop me from staying there again and I will definitely be going back on my next trip to Edinburgh. They had everything you could possibly want! The staff couldn’t do enough to help when we had a power cut, kept us informed and offered to move us for the night but it came back on within a few hours. The apartment was very well stocked with cereals, bread, milk, tea, coffee etc and super clean. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It’s central location makes it great for whatever you want to do in Edinburgh. I have to say that I didn’t hear any other guests coming back to their rooms and I didn’t hear any noise from the street below. Top...
