Went in for breakfast. The cafe is on the smaller side, but not cramped by any means. I'm not a fan of the fried, salty breakfast found throughout Scotland, I prefer something fresh, healthy, and sweet which is nearly impossible to find. Unfortunately I'm allergic to eggs so 90% of breakfast options are also ruled out. Upon ordering I opted for the chicken wrap, which the server was hesitant to allow me to order, but eventually gave in. The wrap took about 30 minutes to be delivered to the table which I thought was rather lengthy; thankfully I wasn't in a rush. The wrap was, however, pretty good. The chicken tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. Bell peppers and lettuce lined the inside which were also fresh. The wrap itself was rather dry and the sandwich could've used some kind of sauce. The salad it came with left a lot to be desired, it wasn't something I'd fancy again. Overall, I wasn't highly impressed. 3 stars.

Solid family-run cafe. Breakfast was put together promptly and tasted great. Only comment is it was a little heavy, could have done with something like grilled tomatoes to freshen it up a bit. Coffee was above average. Decoration really stood out here. Lots of interesting little knick-knacks and memorabilia too ponder over your coffee. Service was pleasant, but I think this Turkish family struggles a bit with English so there was some miscommunication. Asked for an espresso, got an americano. Asked for ketchup and brown, only got the brown. I noticed my napkin was dirty before I sat down, but I don't think the waitress got the point and just thought I wanted a napkin. All minor things, but could see how some people might get frustrated here. To customers; patience and understanding. To the Troy crew; especially since I heard you had a break in recently, keep at it Yapabilirsin!

I usually don't leave bad reviews for restaurants, because I can appreciate that things can go wrong, and tastes vary. However, our visit to Troy for brunch was pretty disastrous from pretty much all angles. It was Sunday, and admittedly busy, but the level of service was quite shocking. It took easily half an hour before someone even bothered to take our orders, instead the staff seemed busy chatting to each other. We had a one year old with us, who would get more and more hungry and restless, because the food took absolutely forever to arrive. Even a glass of Orange juice took 20 minutes despite several requests. We had to ask for milk three times (acknowledged every time) before someone actually bothered to bring it. When the food arrived, they had mixed up the order and brought out dishes we hadn't ordered, which further delayed things. The food itself was quite bland and uninspired. The staff wasn't outright rude but distracted and inconsiderate. When it came to paying, our waiter paid no attention and claimed that payment hadn't gone through. This meant that I was charged twice on my card. All in all, it was a very unpleasant experience and I won't return, except to ask the...

NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! AGAIN! - The best thing for this cafe is call environmental health and close the place down! When will they learn! I honestly don't understand some of the other reviews, either they are friends of the owner or they are mixed up with another cafe. Whoever owns this place should move on and try out something else as they are quite clearly useless as cafe owners and can't even be bothered to clean the tables. Very poor cafe, returned in hope of a new fresh environment with great food and service. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be. It was the same old dirty cafe I previously visited with sticky tables and poor food. I ordered a chicken burger on a roll with salad and a coffee. The burger was a bland piece of chicken slapped on a roll. When I asked about my salad a piece of lettuce arrived with a slice of tomato and a piece of pepper drowned in oil! My coffee was also so disgusting so I left it. All for the pricely...
