LAVA (steak on the stone) — Restaurant in Conwy

We cancelled our original plans to come here as recommended for our anniversary. Booked a table last minute via Facebook messenger and may I add how quick of a response I received. Very accommodating and happy to book and fit our requests for a private table for two. When we arrived we was greeted by Chloe who was very friendly and seated us at our table. There was a card waiting for us which was such a sweet and unexpected touch which truly added to our experience. We ordered the Camembert sharer which was divine followed by the trio of meats. All waitress’s including Olivia and Zoe were very knowledgeable and attentive to ensure we understood how to cook our meat to our preference of rare, medium/well done. Checking in to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We ended up ordering a tuna steak additional to our meal which they were more than happy to accommodate. This was truly the best dining experience we have ever had and the price was more than reasonable. Is was nice experience!!! They seem full booking today, but they still let us in as there are a empty table. It's always a plus when the staff is friendly and helpful, and they made us feel right at home. The fact that they took the time to explain how to cook the beef on the rock shows that they care about the customers and want to ensure they have the best possible dining experience. 12th April 2025 - Back for a second time — still amazing!

This was actually my second visit — I enjoyed it so much the first time that I had to come back! Once again, the food was outstanding, especially the beef. We tried the sharing platter this time, which was a fantastic way to sample a bit of everything.
