Came here last week the service wasn’t great, pint flat. Thought I’d give it another crack because I don’t like to assume a place on my first visit, unfortunately for the barman my first choice Staropramen had to be changed, no worries to me. He came around 10 minutes later and it was incredibly frothy, he had persistence but eventually gave up. I chose another pint and after the same thing happened he just said no. If you’re charging £5.50+ for a pint please train your bar staff how to change a barrel. Only reason it would be all head and no beer. Be better please a year ago the place was wonderful...

The pub was ok, I've been here during the day and found it a much nicer experience. The pool tables were a nice addition as it's hard to find a table in Cirencester, however the tables were in awful condition. The cloths were stained so much it looked like a camouflage pattern, the white ball had so many dents in it, that it made it borderline unplayable. The selection of drinks was ok, a bit pricey but compared to other bars in the area it wasn't awful. I wouldnt rush back here but it certainly wasn't the worst...

Well if you enjoy the smell of chavs and the musty linger of old wardrobe this is a must visit! The skid stained pool tables only add fitting character to this fine establishment. For a first time in Cirencester coming from the local area to say it was abysmal would be an understatement the beer tastes like a 2 pence piece and the table compete with Wetherspoons for stickiness it’s only redeeming feature was the aggressive bar maid panicking about a missing sign.
