Beef Belly — Restaurant in Coventry

I went to a friend's house for her birthday and we had a takeaway from here. My friend normally has no problem and it was my first time using the restaurant. Her 5 year old son was with us. My friend ordered around 19:40pm through Just Eat and after two hours of waiting, we called them in which they replied it was on its way. (We we informed the wait would be an hour). We were so hungry and I called them again around 21:50 asking for some milkshakes or something extra for inconvenience and courtesy. Knowing the five year old needed food and to go to bed we called numerous times around 10pm and the line was saying 'it is not possible to connect your call'. We were wondering if the delivery guy had gone to look for a chicken for our dinner or was on a bike. We don't know whether they struggle with communication between online orders or leave it until last min to look at the online queue focusing on customers in the restaurant as a priority. What is frustrating is just eat sent a text to my friend saying 'enjoy your meal' after one hour of it not arriving. When the food arrived the drinks were wrong and the kid cannot drink fizzy pop and they didn't send his correct drink and he went without. My food was too spicy which I did not like and contained probably two bits of chicken in my wrap if I was lucky. My friends chicken tasted nice but her salad only had one piece of tomato and cucumber. Our food was Luke warm and not fresh. My food tasted like leftovers from a bin and it was the worst food I've eaten from what I can remember from a takeaway We will say the staff were polite especially the delivery driver who came at 1015pm.i am really hoping for some form of compensation especially because it was my friends birthday and a five year old had to wait until 10,15,pm to eat and finally go to bed. Very poor service. Orederd food worth £50 but the burgers were cold and meat burnt on the outer edge. Rang to complain but I guess they don't follow the policy that the "customers are always right" because the person on the phone was not willing to listen to the complain, instead hes arguing that its not possiable that the food can be cold, basically calling a customer a liar. so without any conclusion or apology, he hang up the phone saying he's busy. Won't ever be ordering from then again.

The chicken was raw it wasn’t cooked and the chicken was approximately over a month old. The chips were also crusty NOT crispy but CRUSTY (they was like plastic, probably because of the 10 year old oil they’ve been using). And they charged me a total of 10£ for this nasty burger. Ong i could’ve gotten a better burger for £2 at chicken cottage. PLEASE NEVER MAKE FOOD EVER AGAIN. Disgustinggggggggggggggg!!
