When I stumbled upon Little Desert, I was excited by the concept—it promised a cozy escape with delightful offerings in a quaint setting. My experience, however, felt like a bit of a mixed bag.
Upon arrival, the ambiance was indeed charming. The decor oozed warmth and welcome, with soft lighting and inviting seating. It felt like the perfect spot to unwind. Unfortunately, though, this initial magic didn’t quite carry through to the service.
I noticed that while the staff were friendly when we were greeted, the wait time for service was longer than expected. I found myself pondering the menu for what seemed like an eternity before a server swung by to take our order. I understand that busy days can lead to delays, but a warm smile and regular check-ins can make all the difference!
Once we did place our order, the food was delightful, bursting with flavors that clearly evidenced a lot of love and care in the kitchen. The signature drink I ordered was refreshing, and it paired perfectly with the meal. Clearly, culinary skills were on point. It's just unfortunate that the pacing felt off.
Given that the place was packed, perhaps I just caught them during a particularly hectic time. I do want to give Little Desert another shot because I believe there’s potential here—good vibes, really good food, and a picturesque atmosphere. They might just need a little tweak in service flow to match the quality of what they offer.
Overall, if you’re in the area, don’t let the average service deter you from experiencing the food and charm of Little Desert. A little patience goes a long way for what could be a delightful dining...
Read moreI’ve never tasted desserts this divine in my entire life. Each bite felt like a blessing from dessert gods! They're not overly sugary, just perfectly balanced, rich in flavour, and mind-blowingly delicious. The kunafa? A golden, crispy masterpiece. The milkshakes? Thick, creamy clouds of happiness. The waffles? Crisped to perfection and softer than dreams inside. And trust me, this is only the beginning… I’m already planning my next indulgent adventure here! 🎂🍡🍧🍦🍪🍩🍨🍭🍬🍫🍮🍰🧁
The service? Absolutely flawless! 💯 Jashn, is hands down the sweetest soul I’ve met in the UK, kind, attentive, bubbly and radiating joy. She doesn’t just serve desserts, she serves happiness on a plate and enjoys the way we enjoy the desserts. ⭐
And the atmosphere? Oh, it wraps you in a hug the second you walk in. It’s so cozy and magical, you’d honestly want to move in and live there forever, sampling every dessert on the menu in one delicious, never-ending feast. 😍😍😍😍😍
If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on pure dessert ecstasy. I will never eat any other dessert again as long as I live in Coventry!
Thank you Little Desserts Shop for introducing these wonderful desserts in the UK. Keep up all TASTY...
Read moreAs someone with experience in the dessert industry, having previously worked at Heavenly Desserts, I know what high-quality cookie dough should taste like. Unfortunately, my recent purchase from Little Dessert left me completely disappointed.
The milk chocolate cookie dough I received was overcooked to the point of being burnt. Instead of the gooey, soft texture that makes cookie dough so indulgent, this was dry, hard, and unpleasant. The chocolate drizzle on top seemed hastily applied, doing little to save the overall experience. The presentation itself was subpar, and the taste was just as unimpressive lacking the rich, buttery flavor you’d expect from a proper cookie dough dessert.
For the price, I expected something far better. It’s clear that quality control is lacking, and based on my knowledge of how cookie dough should be made, this was simply unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone looking for a satisfying dessert.
Would I order again? Absolutely not. Little Dessert needs to step up their game, or they’ll continue to disappoint customers who know what good cookie dough should...
