I really enjoy shopping in heron because they always have good food at such reasonable prices. If you are on a budget like myself(I have 4 children to buy for and myself) , this place is great! I shop here every week and there is always a great selection with my regular things I buy and also every week they have new products especially in the chilled section but some don't stay long so be quick because they go. Also you can buy a certain amount of things for £1 around the store. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff and the manager will help if you cannot find something they will check out the back for you. Would have been 4 stars if it weren't for a few members of staff that are too busy chatting on their headsets to greet customers

Your typical Heron i guess, there's a decent selection of cheap frozen goodies and while some staff are polite, chatty and friendly others are too busy chatting to colleagues on their headsets to even greet you. The ice-creams are usually very cheap so ideal to visit in the summer.

They often have reasonably priced non-frozen goodies too, like sauces and cool drinks

Terrible experience in Heron Foods today. I wanted to buy an alcoholic drink and I was asked for my ID. I showed my ROMANIAN ID to 4 different employees and they said they could not accept it as the birth date is not clear although I told them and showed them where my birth date is on the ID.
