Antalya Restaurant — Restaurant in Coventry

The purpose of this review is for improvement for customers who go there to have a good time and enjoy food. I may edit the review if they improve their service. So, present service dserves 2 stars only.

I have been the customer of this restaurant for over 7 years. Its food is amazing. They used to have best customer service before they opened new branch in Earlsdon, Bosphorus. Now their service is not the best.

There are couple of staff who are still best here. Lorina a blond lady, does the best customer service. She always make you feel special. It was only 1 time that she was off and I went to the restaurant with my wife to celebrate her birthday.

The staff didn't care about playing music for us or bring our cake in a way they are meant to be. Why i am writing this review, so, you know what will happen if you're there to do any of your special day. They ruined my wife's birthday. We could see 7,8 waitresses but none of them bothered to come to us. Some were standing behind bars, others were on different side. I request them to stop air conditioning as it was on our head and food was getting cold but one of the waitress said, no we can't. If you ask for sauces or bread or if anything to replace, they'll come after ages. But like, I said, Lorina is , as for as I can remember, working there for over 5 years. I would say,she's the best. When, today on 23/08/25, me and my friend went there, the service was good, I made sure first before ordering that she's there.

Otherwise, food is best. No complaints about...

Ordered from this restaurant for the first time via online. They do not accept card payment at all which is surprising it's so rear to find cash only places. Maybe they are holding back on paying credit card fees. I'm a vegetarian so they had great selection of foods. On collection they gave me someone else's order which was discovered once at home. When I called the restaurant they didn't apologise for giving me the wrong order but blamed me for taking the order and not checking. They then asked me if I opened it. To which I said yes that's how I checked. They then wanted me to bring the order back and to take mine as the guy is coming to collect that order. I was shocked it's Covid and they wanted me to bring the order back to give to the other person. I know for a fact if I was on the otherside I wouldn't want my food to be handled by a 3rd party offsite and then provided to me. I didn't take the order back my husband ate the meat dishes. He did say the food was good and he enjoyed it. I just wasn't happy with their stance and lack of awareness. Would I order here again - no only because I can not be certain who has...

We both had a chicken dish. The skewer one and the yoghurt or yiaourtlou. The chicken skewer dish was excellent apart from a tiny hair in the salad but my partner wouldn't have eaten the salad anyway. The yoghurt chicken dish was quite big and looked really pleasing to the eye. It had a side dish which was some nice cooked rice and salad. Forgot to mention that while waiting for our courses, they gave us some dips with nice warm pita bread. Anyway, back to the yoghurt chicken. After having a few bites, it felt quite mashy and thought the chicken was overcooked. But after careful examination, I realized that together with the pieces of chicken and they had small chunks of bread, all mixed together. At that point, and although it tasted nice, I was a bit put off as the bread was significantly more than the chicken. Prices were good, the 2 of us paid £22 approx. 2 mains, a bottle of water and one ayran. I do recommend it because if you order from the grill, you can't go wrong and the staff were polite and professional. It is a touch of Turkey...
