Went to Simmer Down this evening and had a fantastic meal. The restaurant is tucked away in a very cool walkway, totally worth seeking out. A small, family run business with great service, warm atmosphere and amazing food. I cannot believe that I have only just visited this place, it really is a gem! Went for a buffet meal 20/08/17 to celebrate my sisters birthday, there were seven of us, the meal was absolutely fantastic, second to nun, the place was nice abs cosey , staff could not be nicer, real propper carribean cooking. Popped into the 2 Tone Cafe recently before a bus back to Leicester. A great breakfast & an excellent cup of tea served by a lovely lady for £4.
