Great tasting food, definitely big portions and the price is relatively reasonable considering. We hadn't been to cosy club for a very long time perhaps 6 years or so. The food wasn't as good as it tastes now, the service has improved, there are some areas for improvement although understandable during busy periods. In our group of 4 we had a kids meal, vegan breakfast, a Spanish chicken and a dirty chicken burger. The wife wanted salmon but they had none, then we found out immediately that they also have no fish cake so resorted to the chicken option. I'm not one to calorie count for me the more the better, however the portion size on the food was great, a little too big for me as I couldn't finish it. But for most people this would hit the spot. The food took a while to arrive we waited about 30 minutes, so definitely get your drinks in to make up for the time. The food tasted great, we had no complaints. The lady serving us was professional and attentive to our group, the service in getting the food and paying the bill were the slowest parts. Considering we had a few places to go, I would say though the restaurant isnt exactly fast food per say, so do bear this in mind for the waiting time. However I still feel it can be improved. Overall a good experience with some improvements it could lead to being great. Would still recommend if you dont have a time constrained day.

This was my first time visiting Cosy Club,it definitely makes an impact when you walk into the bar as you come in!colourful, lovely decor, lamps and chandeliers, comfortable furniture and tasteful background music,to set the mood!there is a balcony area outside aswell, which is great to grab some air,and lovely in the nicer weather, myself and my partner had a cocktail whilst seated at our table,it was before happy hour,so we paid full prices, but we didn't mind as we only had the one each,we had Tomato and Parmesan cheese Arancini,Italian deep fried rice balls,if I remember there may have been some basil, very nice!had Italian Mushroom Risotto, with mascarpone and herby garlic sauce,we chose a chicken breast each to top our Risotto, there wasn't alot of chicken, but it was nice, the Risotto was very Al Dente,so quite moist, myself and my partner prefer it less moist, but we did enjoy it!my partner had a pint of beer and I had two glasses of Italian Blush Pinot Grigio, very nice experience, the staff were friendly aswell,we were made to feel welcome, some of the meals are pricey, but I feel as a treat every now and then it's worth it for the tasty food, good atmosphere and friendly staff, easy to get too in Cathedral lane, opposite Natwest Bank, the club is upstairs, worth a visit!we shall be going back!

I love the Cozy Club brand: they offer a cool, calm, stylish oasis in the midst of urban sprawl and pollution -induced tension. The guy who served me was welcoming, attentive and efficient. There is a nice, bird’s eye view of the shopping precinct from a first floor perspective. There is a small outside terrace for warmer evenings and the usual balance of very comfortable lounge chairs and sofas, bar stools and a pleasant dining section. I had a large glass of their house red: Castillo de Mureva organic Tempranillo-delicious and very fairly priced at £8.75. The bar was almost empty on my Tuesday visit at 1900, but this is true of the vast majority of bars in this area. It later became reassuringly bubbly. I really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the moment. Recommended, particularly if you fancy a cozy (pardon the pun!) chat and a leisurely drink. This is one of the very few classy bars in the city centre; long may it continue to thrive!

I happened upon Coventry's own Cosy Club without knowing what to expect, at least beyond peering up at the terrace at what promised to be synthetically warm ambiance, one with an overwhelming mist of luxury which beckons and intimidates. By the end of my evening, I had concluded that the ambiance is all that you are paying for.

From greeting to eating, formality was king. As such, I would certainly recommend this restaurant to any Patrick Bateman enthusiasts; while I was dining there, there were such an abundance of overly enthused staff that anyone could look like they owned the place. I mustered all of my strength not to flinch, as whenever I turned around to admire the ersatz-grandiose interior, which comes with the £30 a head experience, a waiter would race to the table like a child who is for some reason excited to hear their next chore (probably to get mummy and/or daddy a cocktail in this case).

Similarly, food only comes in shanks, whole fish and pricy but plain pasta bowls at Cosy Club. I chose pan-fried bass, which came on a base of oddly over-peppered and yet bland kale and tomato 'sauce' - I quote here because I have an odd feeling that it was poured from the same saucepan as was my bloody-mary (not that I'd recommend this combination - my bad). Sadly the sauce turned out to be the dominant ingredient - two or three measly new potatoes and a small seabass fillets were certainly in proportion to each other but not to the 'sauce'. I understand that this main is meant to leave room to explore the menu, but I does not provide the motivation to do so.

I have made my final rating independent of price - if you want to fork out £30 on fairly basic food presented fairly cleanly then that is you mistake to make. Having said this, the dining experience is perfect for a niche of occasions, and I am glad to have gone exactly once.

Get the bloody mary,...
