Tortilla Coventry — Restaurant in Coventry

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this place truly deserves it. They delivered the wrong order, and when I called, the lady on the phone promised that if I brought the food back, she’d fix it and add something extra to make up for the mistake.

When I showed up, it was obvious they didn’t expect me to come. Suddenly the story changed — they tried to hand me less food than I originally paid for, argued about it, and even laughed as I walked out. I’d already paid extra for delivery through Uber, so at that point, I’d wasted both time and money.

When I reminded her of what she’d promised, she admitted it — but then claimed they were “out of pocket” for giving me the wrong order in the first place and accused me of lying. Apparently, I’m meant to believe I somehow recreated their food containers at home just to scam them out of a salad. Absolutely ridiculous.

They don’t care about customers, only about taking your money. Zero accountability, zero professionalism. Avoid this place...

So, the burritos... They were okay, I guess? Don't compare to the last time I had a Barburrito (10+ years ago though). Flavour-wise they were nothing special and I wish I'd just gone to Costco and bought some of their much tastier ones for ¼ price.

Perhaps more importantly - it's now 12 hours later and I'm having a very unpleasant time on the porcelain throne. Everything else I've eaten today has been verifiably fine - the burrito is to blame. It smells like something crawled up there and died.

The staff were nice and friendly, though the manager didn't seem to have much confidence about the allergen situation - the website PDF menu was informative though.

As for atmosphere - it was takeaway. But I spent maybe 10 minutes in the place to order and it was uncomfortably...

I have been at this place many times and OH MY, Adna was amazing. He stood out to me on the 3rd of July from when I usually come in. I had to come back cause I wanted his name to leave a review. He also made me join the club. He would recommend different items on the menu cause I always want to know if the employees are enjoying or like it as I do. He deserves every raise that comes to him . Such a positive attitude and person. I hope you recognise this employee because that would mean a lot. I was coming in and other people were asking for his name to leave a positive review and that just says something about him. Blessings...
