Disappointed and Frustrated – KFC, This Makes No Sense
I don’t eat fast food often, but when I do, KFC has always been my go-to. Unfortunately, after my recent experience, I’ll be reconsidering that choice.
I visited with the intention of ordering the 60-piece Popcorn Chicken deal for £5.99 — it looked like good value. When I asked for it, I was told it couldn’t be prepared due to low stock. Fair enough.
However, I then asked if I could simply order three portions of the 20-piece Popcorn Chicken instead. The same employee who just turned down my order said, “Oh, yeah absolutely.”
Naturally, I questioned this and asked, “What about the stock?” Her response changed to, “It’s the cooking time.” So, which is it — stock shortage or preparation time?
Either way, it makes no sense. Three 20-piece portions equal the same 60 pieces I originally requested. Yet I was forced to pay nearly triple the price for the exact same product. That’s not just inconsistent — it’s exploitative.
This isn’t about a few pounds; it’s about fairness and logic. Being told I can get the item I want, but only if I pay significantly more for it, feels dishonest and anti-consumer. It’s not just bad customer service — it’s a broken policy.
Shame on KFC for allowing this kind of practice, and shame on the staff for not applying common sense.

Read moreAfter a hard day at work my wife ordered us a KFC meal through the Just Eat App this evening 09.07.2022 and what a farce.
The order arrived 20 minutes late and was labelled on the receipt of the bag what we ordered which was a bargain bucket of 14 pieces of chicken, 2 fries and 2 sweetcorn. When we opened the bag what we actually had was 4 pieces of cold chicken, 2 ice cold portions of fries along with 2 cans of orange Tango, this was clearly not our order so attempted to call the restaurant, tried many times and no answer so we had to go out in person to this place and asked to speak to the manager. An extremely rude and abrupt lady said so you have the wrong order, yes we said and asked for any compensation as we had to go out of our way because they sent the wrong order and wouldn't pick up the phone to sort our problem out. All we wanted was a refund of the delivery money and what we actually ordered as we had to drive there to return the wrong, cold order.
She said nothing I can do and walked off, what disgusting so called customer service, we shall never go back to this awful place again and would advise all friends and family to do the same.

Read moreOne star is too much. Just put an order in and when the food arrives it’s missing a Meal contacted uber and it will take 24 hours for a response! Call kfc and after 10 minutes on the phone they say that there is nothing they can do. How hard is it to put 7 items in a bag seriously? My wife is left eating a bag of chips as she doesn’t like anything else that was delivered what a meal! Don’t use unless you want shoddy customer service and be prepared to not receive goods you have paid for which I’m fairly certain is fraud but they will get away with it! How many people does this happen to missing gravy missing burger here and there how much money are they “accidentally” scamming. Or if it is human error that would be fine but this is the second time in 5 orders something has been missing last time it was only some chips so I wasn’t all that bothered we shared. If your staff need any tips on reading an order picking it and putting it in a bag please get in touch I will put together a full comprehensive corse on how to tick an item off when it’s placed in a bag sounds like a hard one I know but I offer it free for the first 10 staff members and then just a meal for each staff...
