A disappointing cafe experience. Decor feels good and it all looks well set out, I was looking forward to giving it a go. Unfortunately it was let down by the service. My partner was barked at loudly at least 4 times whether she wanted 'anything else'. Servers handling food casually, saw one server barely concealed, eating handfuls of food behind a partition. The food we ate was reasonably good. Generally it had the feel of apathy and complacency compared with neighbouring cafes. Could potentially be a good cafe stop if the staff were better trained, or could speak better English even. Had the feel of a low budget Pret a Manger which in itself is not a bad thing. If I felt more confident in the staff I would certainly give it another go nevertheless as the location I like and Crawley seems to be raising its game and needs some more cafe...

Hardly anyone in there today around 11.45am. So expected a short wait. How wrong we were. 2 lattes' and a hot chocolate proved too complicated. We received 3 lattes! All the coconut milk had been used up on the latte we never ordered so had to have alternative in hot chocolate. How hard can it be? Whilst taking forever, it was interesting to stand and persuse the half finished baguettes in the kitchen drying out to perfection. Meat exposed to anything in the air. God knows how long they had been laying there! Great pile of coffee grounds sitting on the counter presumably to be disposed of at some point. 2 serving, one admitted the other had a language barrier!! - why employ then?? Hope anyone that ate a baguette feels OK. No we definitely would...

Went there for a coffee and a croissant. The attitude from the stuff was really bad and the coffee was generally disappointing. The butter croissant was not bad. However the stand out thing was how poor the higene was, both in handling food and in how the premises are ran. As an example ,they were using serving trays for carrying around food that was due to go on display. This shows there are no procedure in place to preserve food from contamination. Also the coffe was served just with the cup, I asked for a spoon and a plate underneath the codfe...they were dirty. The spoon looked like has not been washed for ages. Would...
