I have been to this place a couple of times. Once before covid and then within the last couple of days. When we walked in on this occasion, there were loads of empty tables but they all had cups and plates etc on them. We were therefore asked to sit by the open door where it was pretty cold. Only one of the staff was wearing a mask and that was under her nose. We were given our coffee in paper cups as they said they had been busy. But then proceeded to walk past all the tables with things on without picking anything up. The food that came was great although I had the bruschetta and it had about 3 tiny pieces of goats cheese on where as before it had a huge bit of goats cheese on. Also the sugar and stirrers are all on an outside table which means everyone puts their hands into the same bowls to pick these up. It could be a really great place as there aren't many individual little cafes in Crawley, it just needs a little bit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust arrived back from Prague today after 5 nice days with my son and after landing back at Gatwick we thought weād drive into Crawley and grab a bite to eat. My son had the egg Benedict and I had the ciabatta with bacon. Iāve got to say both were 10/10. Service was quick and the cafe is very clean. Tonnes of bacon and delicious bread. Will definitely use again when travelling from Gatwick. I would say donāt believe any negative reviewsā¦..

My son had his favourite eggs Benedict and my wife had a lovely delicious savoury pastry. Great value. Very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly manager. The very best food in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy sister and I entered La Rusta on Friday 27/12/2019 at 12:55 for lunch. We found an empty table that accommodated four people and sat down. A female member of staff gave us some menuās and within a few minutes a male member of staff asked us to move to another table. There were other customers sat at a table that would accommodate four people and they were only two of them as well. The whole cafe had white customers. My sister and I were the only two coloured customers and we were the only ones asked to move tables. The male member of staff could have easily put two single tables together to create a table for four without asking us to move! In this day and age it appears that racism is still very prevalent. Needless to say, my sister and I walked out and took our custom elsewhere. Never going...
