Ori CafĂ© in John Lewis Bluewater is one of those spots that makes you glad you didnât just rush through shopping. Itâs comfortable, modern, and has that calm atmosphere you want when youâre taking a pause from browsing sofas or clothes. The staff are excellent, attentive without being over the top, the sort of service that makes everything run smoothly without you having to ask twice. Even small details are thought of, like the self-service drinking water tap, which feels refreshingly practical.
We ordered two coffees to start, both well-made and smooth, the kind you can linger over. For food, one of us went for a toasted bagel filled with creamy Camembert and mushrooms, indulgent but perfectly balanced, while the other enjoyed a focaccia generously filled with Swiss cheese and smoked ham. Both plates were delicious and felt freshly prepared, not just thrown together. And of course, it would have been rude not to finish with cake. Two slices later, we can confirm the desserts are every bit as good as the savoury offerings.
Ori Café is a real gem within John Lewis: quality food, comfortable seating, thoughtful service. A little haven for...
Read moreI have been staying near by Bluewater, and after trying Ori caffe inside John Lewis shop during a random shop around, I was very impressed by this caffe.
Starting with the atmosphere (the cafe was pretty much fully packed! It's probably the busiest cafe in the whole Bluewater shopping center), food & coffee were always delicious & all the staff was oustanding, lovely and made me return to Ori Caffe I think pretty much every day during my time around the area.
A big shout to Katie, Steph, Angel and many more (I'm sorry couldn't get everyone's names :) ) they were so polite, sweet, lovely to be attended by, a blessing to the owners of Ori caffe, basically made my whole experience at Ori caffe always a moment to look forward to on my day-2-day.
From the great coffees to the tasty food & cakes & croissants, this place is definitely a hidden gem.
It's immensely recommended a visit if you around Bluewater shopping center.
I'm beyond grateful to all staff & for the delicious food & coffee.
Carry on with the...

Let's start with the negative. It's quite expensive here. For the price paid, we would have expected the ciabattas to have come with a side salad, at least to help with presentation and first impressions. The pastel de natas were served cold, my wife said I could have asked for them to be heated but an offer from staff would have been good.
The positives. The coffee was amazing. The flavours in our ciabattas was excellent. The staff were attentive but not too much. Being located at the back of the store, it's far more relaxed than any of the eateries in the main concourse.
With those negatives addressed, this place would be a clear 5 star. We definitely left feeling we...
