I met Susie and the team for the first time yesterday after weeks of seeing how much fun they have at this pub on social media . Absolutely wonderful bunch of people, great vibe and a fantastic place to go for a drink will be returning again soon. The Black Bull Doncaster

We came here for our shop's Xmas dinner. There's free wifi (use the cloud). Friendly staff. The Xmas dinner was pretty good. We sat out in the conservatory. They could do with a guest ale rather than just Old Peculier but I'm a real ale fan.

Friendly service well priced, good honest pub food. A bit loud, then I am no spring chicken anymore

Was invited by friends, on reaching the bar my partner was told "hat off or no service". Absolutely no consideration or interest that it was needed for medical reasons. Despite our explanation, NOT that we should have to , we were refused. This is not the 90's, we've grown up (or at least some of society have). Staffs personal choices should not be foisted on to paying customers. Would they ask a Sikh to remove his turban? Or an orthodox Jew to remove his hat?? Hmm I wonder. Rude and quite arrogant. Better...

Food wasn't terrible, however the staff are pretty unprofessional. Chef came up & shouted at server that they'd ran out of something & 'couldn't conjur it out of thin air', right in front of us, server then had to change our order & shouted from our table to chef across room. Staff members are either not wearing a mask at all or not wearing it properly, half the staff are also dressed in cycling shorts & sliders for work? Honestly felt rough as hell in there, definitely not...

This pub is a locals pub and looks are deceiving. Go into the pub and it's quite dark, but walk on through and you get to the conservatory, a light bright extension. But the beer , hand pump Old Peculier at £3.00 a pint is a real bonus. Food is served and prices seem good but have not eaten so can't offer a review. Downstairs disabled toilet access for buggies or wheelchairs. Although could do with regular cleaning/ inspection to gain a further star. Upstairs...
