Burger King — Restaurant in Dover

AVOID THIS STORE! FOOD POISONING! I purchased a chicken Royale meal on Monday 12th February 2020 around 6PM. Staff lacked any kind of knowledge and were not wearing protective gloves. I contracted food poisoning one hour later. I have since been vomiting for the last two days! I have had my food poisoning diagnosed by a GP and confirmed. I have also contacted environmental health seeing as hygiene standards in that place leave a lot to be desired. The place was dirty the burger was undercooked and when I came to the manager with my concerns about the food poisoning he could not have been less interested. Disgusting lack of care in all aspects from this store, I hope environmental health either closes them down or at the very least gets them to raise their hygiene standards....

Burger King consistently delivers when you’re craving a quick, satisfying burger. The Whopper is still a standout—juicy, flame-grilled, and packed with fresh toppings. The fries are hit or miss depending on the location, but when they’re hot and crispy, they’re excellent.

Service is usually fast, though it can vary depending on the time of day. This particular location was clean, with friendly staff and a decent dining area. They also have good plant-based options like the Impossible Whopper, which is a nice touch for vegetarians or those cutting back on meat.

Only downside: pricing has gone up a bit, especially for combo meals, and the self-serve kiosks could be more intuitive.

Overall, a reliable spot for fast food done right—especially if you like your burgers...

Mix experience at Burger King St James Retail Park, Dover

Positive Point is its location. Dover Castle at backdrop and Retail Market in front. Burgers they serve are filling. Fries are really good.

Negative Point is that they don’t take orders on counter. You have to order on screen, which is really difficult. There is always a wrong order, mainly when there are Customers standing in a row behind you.

Burgers are super expensive. They seriously have to bring down the prices. But Kansas BBQ King Box is good and reasonable. I think they have not sufficient staff. Tables require wiping all the time. We repeatedly had to go to counter and ask for their services.

Toilets are clean and fresh.

Suggestion : Introduce some budget...
