Tucked away next to a bustling Chinese restaurant and a convenient car wash, Britannia Pizza promises a quick and easy fix for hunger pangs. Situated along the well-traveled Birmingham New Road, with easy access from Tipton and Dudley, it boasts a location that seems primed for success. However, behind its unassuming facade lies a culinary experience that fails to rise above mediocrity.Stepping into Britannia Pizza, one is greeted by the unmistakable scent of frying oil and anticipation. The interior is no-frills, with basic furnishings and minimal decor that do little to elevate the dining atmosphere. The seating arrangements are functional, if not entirely comfortable, providing ample space for patrons to enjoy their meals in relative peace. The menu at Britannia Pizza is a straightforward affair, with a focus on fast food staples such as chips, chicken, and, of course, pizza. While the selection may be limited, it covers all the essentials for a quick and satisfying meal on the go. However, the execution leaves much to be desired, with most dishes falling flat in terms of flavor and quality. The pizza at Britannia Pizza is a hit-or-miss affair, with some variations faring better than others. The crust is typically doughy and undercooked, lacking the crispiness and depth of flavor that one would expect from a quality pie. The toppings range from pedestrian to downright disappointing, with cheap cheese and lackluster meats dominating the flavor profile. While the prices may be affordable, the lack of attention to detail in the preparation of the pizzas is evident in every bite. The chicken offerings at Britannia Pizza fare slightly better than the pizzas, but still fail to impress. The fried chicken is greasy and overcooked, with a noticeable lack of seasoning that leaves it tasting bland and unappetizing. The chicken sandwiches suffer from similar issues, with dry buns and uninspired fillings that do little to excite the taste buds.Despite its culinary shortcomings, Britannia Pizza does have one redeeming quality: its prime location. Situated beside a popular Chinese restaurant and a busy car wash, it benefits from high foot traffic and visibility. Additionally, its proximity to Birmingham New Road makes it easily accessible to commuters and residents alike, especially those from Tipton and Dudley. For tourists visiting nearby attractions such as the Black Country Living Museum and Dudley Zoo, it serves as a convenient option for a quick meal on the go. In conclusion, while Britannia Pizza may offer a convenient solution for those in need of fast food, it ultimately fails to deliver a truly satisfying dining experience. From lackluster pizzas to uninspired chicken dishes, the food leaves much to be desired in terms of flavor and quality. Unless you find yourself in desperate need of a quick bite and are willing to settle for mediocrity, it's best to look elsewhere for a more...

I went back with the scallops and the old man on the counter took them them off me and told me to pay for the roes in a rude manner. I told him is this what you call customer service, and that I don't live down the road from you I had to come all the way back for the order you messed up. Have been a customer there for years the young blokes that work there are fine, it's just that old man needs to learn some...
Read moreWent here last night, would never return or recommend to anyone! Firstly they do not write orders down so they get your order wrong, we ordered stuffed crust as that’s the only part my child eats when he called my partner to grab the pizza he realised after he’d cooked everything that he’d forgotten the stuffed crust after my partner repeated himself to ensure he got his point across about the stuffed crust. They try and serve you cold food also. Lucky we went in and ordered and took it straight back in when we realised it was cold. The chicken strippers is literally a fillet of chicken that they cut up into strips? they don’t do normal cheesy garlic bread only pizza version. It all tasted and smelt vile, the whole order went...
