Dudley Museum & Art Gallery — Attraction in Dudley

The museum and gallery was in the past a lovely old building in the centre of Dudley town. It had permanent displays in several rooms and various exhibitions rotating throughout the year in its main gallery.

Then Dudley council decided to close it to save a few bob.

Apparently everything was moved to this modern building which is out of town and which was named the archives.

A good amount of information about the local geographical area as well as local history. You can tell Dudley holds its past in high esteem which is nice to see they haven't neglected.

Absolutely gobsmacked came here and drove 6 hours to see my favourite attraction the woolly mamoth just to be told it was removed 5 years ago. This is absolutely disgraceful and im disgusted that i was not informed earlier to think i spent so much money driving just to see my mamoth and its not even here what the hell....
