Dragon I — Restaurant in Sandwell

Tonight I ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup, dragon I special chow mein And banana pancakes As I’ve been ill for a few days and didn’t feel like cooking . The water chestnuts were grey and slimy, and had a fausty taste Which tainted the whole dish. It tasted stale and the banana fritters Have probably never seen a banana in their life. I rang the restaurant and they said they can’t do anything about it. I would have to get up off my sick bed and take the food in and as I’ve eaten the food I can no longer get a refund. Haven’t eaten the food apart from the soup which I’m quite Happy to pay for, I told him I was ill in bed and they still said if I want to refund I have to take it back. Needless to say I’m not getting out of my sick bed to take it back. I told him I could take it back In the week when I felt better, but they said it needs to be back today. I told him they could send a driver and I would give it back to them as it’s disgusting. They said they couldn’t. I have never had a bad meal from them before, but I’ll never have a meal...

Over two hour wait! I ordered food 7:10pm called them when I did not receive 1st order after an hour. They said delivery is on its way, I called again after 1/2 hour they said they delivered already, then said the delivery didn't go out they made a mistake, they made another order and said they would deliver. Still no food after 2 hours, I called they they asked to call back after they double check with driver, then put driver on the phone telling me they delivered to my house, realising they delivered to the wrong house. After 2 hours of nonsense we drove to collect the 3rd order so we could actually get to eat something got home 9:45pm. They actually thought a 99p bottle of pop would compensate for the bad service.

The food was incredibly disappointing, ordered a special curry with egg fried rice, prawn toast, sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style, and some salt & chili pepper chips; the meal as per usual came with a complimentary bag of prawn crackers, which were stale, as were my partner's salt & chili pepper chips... he also went to the kitchen to add more salt and chili flakes from our cupboard since he said there was next to no flavour on said chips too. I took a mouthful of some chicken from my curry, and had to spit it out as it tasted completely gone off!
