Don’t be fooled thinking it looks a bit small , the food and service was absolutely fabulous . I was a little wary when it was English people but honestly was one of the nicest Chinese’s I’ve had ( I have a lot ! ) The salt and pepper chips was so crispy and tasty , beef chowmein was 10/10 !! Two starts a main sides and 4 drinks was £46 ! The staff are so so nice and warm and welcoming . It’s really a little hidden gem

The service from the lady at the front at the takeaway counter was lovely! So friendly and helpful! The food was absolutely delicious! We had shrimp Curry, extra cooked crispy chips (they were AMAZING) and ss pork! Absolutely delicious and reasonable! AND THEY DELIVER!

Had a lovely meal at this Chinese restaurant. The staff were friendly and very attentive throughout. The food was full of flavour and beautifully cooked. Great value with a 2-course set menu for under £19. Leftovers were kindly boxed up for us to take home.

We ordered steamed rice, barbecue spare ribs, satay sauce, kids chips and tofu salt and chilli Monday 25th April 2022.

Our order arrived 20 minutes early which was outstanding but when we served up our food and started to eat it not only did it look like it had been reheated, the food didn't taste very good either.

We have ordered previously from this restaurant but on this occasion we were very disappointed and the food was abysmal.

On this particular occasion I would not recommend this restaurant the fact that the food arrived 20 minutes early tells me that there wasn't any fresh preparation done and the quality of the food you could tell wasn't cooked from scratch at all. My partner was ill the next day with loose bowel motions and achy tummy.

We'd like a refund to be perfectly honest and someone to get back to us to discuss what went so wrong and and set...

We nearly walked straight out of this place as once inside there was not much evidence of it being a Chinese restaurant looking more like a greasy spoon. There was no one in the place which should have told us ti leave. None of the dishes we tried were very tasty and the Hot and Sour soup was so salty that I could not eat it. The egg fried rice was very uninspiring and looked as if it had been cooked up several times. The waitress was very good which was the only plus about this place. Never saw a Chinese person the whole of the time we were there. And who in this day and age only accepts cash? An experience we will not be repeating. We ate later in the week at the Bamboo to see the difference read my review...
