I ordered a meatball marinara with a 6-inch hearty bread including lettuce, sweetcorn, and garlic sauce. However, upon receiving the order, I was absolutely stunned. The portion was noticeably smaller, and the sandwich looked unappealing. When I mentioned this to the staff, they insisted it was the usual practice. I paid nearly £9 for the meal deal and wasn't satisfied. I requested more marinara sauce, but even with the addition, the sandwich remained unappealing. Read moreI am a firm believer that Subway offers an excellent form of healthy fast food, accompanied by an affordable price. Ingredients are mostly fresh and most sandwiches are made on the spot, including nearly compulsory salad. Staff (the 'sandwich artists', a term I love) are helpful and sensitive to your requests. Just don't give in to those subtle offers of double cheese-something I think they make money on!
