A little disappointed ... Mondays are a difficult day to find an eatery open but after a few searches we found this Italian. It started off well, the place was lovely and the service was really good. Bruschetta to start was great, good size portion but are mains unfortunately were not the best. I ordered the Italian sausage pasta but asked for it to be less spicy .... when it arrived I had large chunks of chilli in it, so had to pick them out and leave them to one side .... not an issue but I had specifically asked ....my friends had the Salmon pasta in a cream sauce, when I asked to my surprise they said it was average ... only warm and very little taste ... was almost like they had poured cream over and forgot to season it or add herbs ... overrall it was a little disappointing... Italian food is my favourite 😋 but this time it fell short of expectations, could have caught them...
Read moreHonestly don’t bother. We both feel quite sick after eating here. It says on the menu “not bought wholesale frozen all home made” this is a LIE. The mixed seafood started was definitely frozen, watery in texture with an interesting grey hue. I have a feeling we will be seeing it again later. My main of Spaghetti Vongole was swimming in butter and oil, with very rubbery clams, which can only happen if they were frozen first. I had to send a search party out to find the pasta. Partner’s pizza genuinely tasted of nothing, which in one way is quite an achievement. For all the many ingredients on top of the pizza not one actually had any flavour. The green peppers were as grey as the seafood starter. The only good thing was the bottle of Malbec from Argentina, which kept us going. Please do your stomachs and tastebuds a favour and go somewhere else....
Read moreAn excellent family run Italian in Ware. We tried here after family recommendations and have now been several times. Large portions of food but at good prices. Average for us with drinks, starters and mains seems to be around £30/£40. The food is very tasty and authentic. Can recommend the garlic long prawns with bread, Italian sausage casserole and calamari dishes for starters. Can recommend any pizza/pasta/seafood dish for mains or the Chicken with parmesan. If you don't have a big stomach, just stick to a main meal as the portions are large, rich and filling. There's also a very good selection of vegetarian options and a good wine selection. Nice staff which make you feel welcome. Would recommend coming here over any other Italian chains or even Zero further...
