Beaumonts Cafe & Deli: A Mixed Bag with Potential Beaumonts Cafe & Deli presents a bit of a paradox. The underlying quality of the food and the pleasant setting offer genuine appeal, but the service experience on our recent visit left much to be desired. From the dishes we were able to order, the food was undeniably good – high quality and tasty. The ambiance of the cafe is also quite nice, suggesting it could be a lovely spot for a meal. However, the service aspect significantly detracted from the experience. Despite the restaurant having only two other patrons, our waitress, who seemed a bit harried, informed us she was "busy" and presented us with only half the menu. This immediately limited our choices and set a somewhat frustrating tone for the meal. To the owner, if you're reading this, it's clear there are some operational issues that need prompt attention. The disparity between the quality of your food and the efficiency and attentiveness of your service staff is a concern that could quickly escalate. With some focused improvements in customer service, Beaumonts Cafe & Deli could truly shine, as the core elements of a great dining experience are already in place.

Open 9-5:30 Mon-Sat (closed on Sunday). Seating for around 4people but they do takeaway hot drinks. Parking outside for 2 cars half hour no return. If this is full you can park up the road, 30 second walk, in a long stay car park (2hours free then£2 all day). It is a beautiful shop with friendly staff. Has so much gorgeous food - natural pastas and sauces, chutneys, jams, pastries, cake, hot drinks (hot chocolate was AMAZING: rich and thick) pastries, pies, quiches and loads of other goodies. It has a cooked wine section with a LOT of different Gins. Lovely little place :)

I visited this new cafe at late lunchtime during a holiday weekend. The view from the café terrace at the back is a ^must see'. Maybe because of supply problems the menu was boring. The Delicatessen continues with a glorious tirimasu and a wide range of good wines. I have heard the café do good breakfast. I think my visit was not typical but I can only award according to my own experience.

I would like to pass on my observations regarding my breakfast experience this morning. I will start by saying the breakfast was really tasty. Good quality food and well cooked. It is a pity that the service from the lady that served myself and wife fell short in every aspect. Firstly the teapot arrived on its own with a major chip in the spout, not a good look and can lead to a breading area for bacteria. The lady the disappeared to collect the rest of the items required for my tea. She then clutched all the items milk, sugar. Salt and pepper, and cutlery close to her chest and in contact with her clothing, this was done so she could open the door. In this climate of pandemic, I was surprised and really not impressed that she would contemplate doing this. These items were plunked down on the table. The lady then said, I have forgot your cup and saucer. By the time she had got all the items together for my tea my wife had already finished her drink. Would it not be a more productive and hygienic to have used a tray and ask one of her colleagues to assist in opening the door. Considering the price of the breakfast I would expect a better level of service. I got the feeling that the lady was totally disinterested. I am more than happy to discuss this matter further. Major...

Great little Deli. Haven't been inside the restaurant, to my lasting shame, but I try and call in every morning for a coffee and a sausage roll when I'm out with my pooch.

Good selection of harder to come by ingredients if you want to make a meal special, lots of good cheeses and liquors, and I have instructions to acquire Bailey's Brownies at all costs to ship to Denmark!

The sausage rolls are god-tier, and if you get one fresh from the oven, it will literally micturate all over the pink slurry monstrosity you get at that big chain place. You know the one.

Fantastic coffees too, and the range of cakes are great - your pancreas will hate you, but the flapjack is incredible.

It is quite pricey, but it is very good quality. Also, it's not been in stock for a while, but a few years back they had some N'duja sausage, and I added it to some patatas bravas on Christmas Eve. It was so spicy, me and my parents were sitting at the dining table, with tears rolling down our faces from the heat of it. I can drink Tabasco from the bottle like it's chocolate milk. Please get that...
