Chunky Chip — Restaurant in East Lindsey

Real shame as the place has good potential. Made quite a large order to take out, all hot and fresh and tasted nice unfortunately they gave our order to someone else, no communication between staff, only realised after we left. Fair enough these things happen, so went back and spoke to the staff, and after an argument between them about checking tickets, got what was missing...... only we didn't as the order was still missing one of the kids meals....... we gave up after that and made do with what we had.

Real shame as we spent quite a lot of money. Oh well, hope it was a one...

Free car park right next to it (15 minutes free), benches outside and also seating inside. I had the large fish and chips (£5 for the fish). It was cooked while I waited (only a few minutes) and tasted absolutely delicious. Lovely white cod with a light batter. The kids had a deal... choice of fishcake, sausage or chicken nuggets (think they were £3.50). Really friendly staff. For 3 kids meals, 1 x large fish and chips and battered sausage and chips it came to less than £19. We popped into the arcades opposite for the toilets before heading home. A great little find! Small chippy down sea lane, practically cooked to order. Small amount of both indoor & outdoor seating along with takeaway. Very reasonably price, wonderful sized portions making excellent value for money. Mini fish chips and peas where amazing. Scampi & chips not so much, simply due to being 'reformed' scampi and only 6 pieces. Large fish & Chips just over £7 but seriously could fault portion size - massive. Wishing I'd taken photos, but was so hungry I forgot. I definitely recommend walking down to this chippy when in Ingoldmells it's only a short walk past...
