Unfortunately can't give 0 stars... went to Ingoldmells today with our 1 year old we live local so was a day out. Went into the cafe to order lunch at quarter to 12, time I queued and got served was 11:56 to be told we aren't taking food orders till 12? Why they couldn't of took the order and got on with cooking it I don't know... so my husband went back up dead on 12 to order our sons lunch chicken nuggets chips and beans, paid told the table number, I sat at the table which he distracted our very hungry toddler... 12:25 came and still no food or table number called, he then went up to ask how long is his lunch going to be, to then be told ifs already gone out? Gone where and to who because we didn't get it and our table number wasn't even called! Asked for a refund wasn't given a refund was told by a member of staff that the foods gone out I said well check the cameras I've been sat there the whole time he hasn't eaten its past his lunch time and I'm not happy! We aren't holiday makers were local and they could of done something better about it but didn't, probably because was bank holiday and not used to the pressure and how busy it is but we left to go elsewhere because he was overdue his lunch, not bothered in the fact it was £3.49, it's the fact that we never got the food and someone else obviously did and they really didn't give a toss! Definitely won't be going back here again and would recommend to avoid to eat here at all costs! Especially if you have a young...
Read moreI have a spinal cord injury and use a small pavement mobility scooter on holiday this weekend with my wife and eleven year old son. I was approached by a staff member from the back right side and instructed to leave as they have banned mobility scooters from their premises. He said that I would be allowed back in a wheelchair. I asked who I could contact to complain he replied I will get you a complaints form. Whilst waiting for him to return I remained stationery. A few minutes after I was approached by another member of staff again from the back with no introduction he said you've got to go out scooters are banned. I said that I was waiting for his colleague to come back with a contact number. Without any response he turned to walk away at the top of his voice repeating what I'd said to him. I looked behind to four of them behind me. Already deflated and now feeling threatened I asked my wife to get the contact info and I would wait outside. I have insurance to use this scooter and didn't drive inappropriately. To the staff this is appalling customer service and to the owners your policy I think is faulted. Deal with the people not using...
Read moreI am writing this review as I am sat waiting for my food at planet fun. Absolutely disgusting attitude from the man behind the cafeteria serving. The irony is there is a sign saying for customers to be polite to staff but where are the double standards when it’s vice versa? We came in just before lunch time and didn’t realise that there were only certain items available on the menu - which was absolutely fine. What wasn’t absolutely fine was the man behind the counter speaking to us like muck at the bottom of his shoe and with no manners.
My 79 year old nan had asked for a tea cake that was toasted so that she could have something hot. It came out anaemic and when we asked the lovely lovely man behind the counter he told us ‘no because it would burn’. It was raw. We then also had the wrong baps brought out.
I think some basic training in manners and customer service is needed because it...
