House of Coffee - Ingoldmells — Restaurant in East Lindsey

The prices were pretty cheap, but the food wasn't nice, not many vegetarian or vegan options, it was all basic cheap stuff. I would class something vegan if it was on the levels of beyond meat or moving mountians or some kind of chicken subsitute, not a frozen Tesco Vegetable burger.

We don't carry cash so wanted to pay by card, everytime we swiped our card, the woman went outside so it appears they were leeching the card readers Internet from across the street because they were struggling to get signal/connection, either way it kept getting rejected after trying multiple different cards, which have worked elsewhere. Because of this we were forced to withdraw cash because we were not advised by any other payment methods only to withdraw, we were directed to a card machine around the corner because we are not from around here which cost us a withdrawal fee. We complained about this and the woman went around the corner to ask about a refund, which we then...

Been here a few times, very good customer service, good hygiene, tasty food - however what lets it down for us is the condiments are the cheap and nasty mayo and acidic tomato sauce. Yuk! Such a shame. Personally I would prefer them to squirt me some decent heinz tomato sauce/mayo in a small dish. Condiments for us make the meal more enjoyable and are an important part of the meal.

The side salad leaves ruin the side salad, some nice crunchy lettuce would improve it as its a bit bland, however the addition of the sweetcorn to the salad is great.

Some Pepsi max would be appreciated too as most of the cans of full fat drinks.

Food is always well presented & its a lovely place, just needs a couple of tweeks...

I felt it necessary to leave this review despite not having the pleasure of eating here.

We popped in to have a late lunch yesterday. Unfortunately our son has a few allergies that can make eating out a challenge but one that we are well versed on. Cat and the team were no less than incredible when it came to looking into the products that they use. They tried to offer suitable alternatives and even advised to try the establishment over the road.

Customer service can be something that lacks in hospitality these days but the customer service we received here yesterday was exceptional. Well done...
