Luxe Bistro Bar — Restaurant in East Lindsey

It's a bit harsh to leave a review when you are not technically a customer but I want the owner to know why he missed out on our business today. 3 of us went for coffee at 11.30 on Sunday morning. The place looks great and very inviting but the guy who was serving (who I presume is the owner) was not very welcoming I am afraid, he seemed more interested in holding a conversation with what appeared to be other friends than serving us. Then, when we came to order, there was no decaf coffee available and no regular tea. The place is a coffee shop so it's pretty unforgivable that they would fail to have some of the staples of the business available. Sadly, we left without buying anything so he missed out on probably a £20 bill. Ironically, there is a little store next door which has regulat tea bags for £1.50. If I was running the cafe and had failed to manage my stock so badly, I would have shot next door and bought some immediately. Worst experience ever ! Decided to drop in for lunch and a coffee Male staff member no greeting, stood behind bar and said you want just drinks or food as well Replied food and drinks, menus dumped on table, coffee made and delivered we asked for some water.. no delivered ! The staff member was just rude and we decided not to eat as the service was just so poor ! Seemed like it was more trouble to serve us, he then informed us he was apparently the best barista in woodhall spa apparently, this was just hysterical as the coffee was ok at best. Then he went out the back and had a cigarette and on his phone We could have just walked out without paying I knocked on the door of the kitchen and explained to the chef how disgusting the service was, offered to pay and she refused payment and apologised We won’t ever come back or recommend this...

We went to Luxe Bistro Bar this morning for our breakfast after a lovely camp out last night.

Very friendly staff working this morning, welcoming and friendly, service with a smile.

After placing our orders with about a ten to fifteen minutes wait we had our order.
