5 Stars! A Skegness Seaside Delight at Trawler's Catch We had a fantastic lunch at Trawler's Catch in Skegness today and couldn't wait to share our experience! The atmosphere was perfect for a seaside town - nautical themed with a casual vibe. The food was absolutely top-notch. My fish and chips were perfect. The fish was fresh, flaky, and cooked to perfection in a light and crispy batter. The chips were golden brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just the way I like them. The peas were a great addition, adding a pop of colour and freshness. My wife was equally impressed with her battered sausage and chips. The sausage was succulent and flavourful, and the batter was light and crispy, just like mine. The curry sauce was the perfect accompaniment, rich and flavourful. The portion sizes were generous, and we both left feeling happy and satisfied. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Trawler's Catch is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic fish and chip experience in Skegness. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back next time we're in town!

We usually use this place when the grandkids are down. The last time they had a jack sparrow character out the front entertaining. For me I've given it four stars just because of the volume of noise. So loud but guess I'm getting a bit old. Every time we've gone the food has been spot on. Allergies are catered for pretty well so that's a winner. The last time we went the female table cleaner was a right grumpy old bag. Made us chuckle as she was so rude. Told us of for using salt and vinegar from the wrong place..... Really she told us off..... You couldn't make it up. We laughed for a good hour. The food though was spot on. The place was clean and it was soooooo busy. So the staff were working there socks off. We will go back because the grandkids love it. Me... I'll take me ear plugs and grumpy old man t-shirt lol

📍Trawlers Catch 🐟 Mini Cod & Chips x 2 🫙 Mushy Peas 🫙 Curry Sauce After several visits, we decided to write a proper review of our Go To Fish & Shop in Skegness. We keep returning to this place because the food is reliably tasty every time. While the pieces of Cod were not the chunkiest, they were still delicious. The chips were spot on as were Curry and Mushy Peas. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and the value for money was excellent. 📍 Trawlers Catch 🍽️ Fish & Chips, Kebabs, Pizza & Burgers 🗺️ Grand Parade, Skegness PE25 2UG 🗓️ Mon-Sat 11:00-21:30 Sun 11:00-20:00 🚘 Closest Car Parks: The Embassy or Festival 💰 £13.90 Food £3.60 Drinks ♿ Accessible entry, seating & toilet 👶 Kids Menu. Updated review 2021: Very disappointed with this place, it seems every time we go it gets worse, I think today will be our last visit. Soggy batter on the fish, my chips were basically a portion of crispy bits (see picture) .. No one in my group particularly enjoyed it and it seems their whole budget has gone into that over the top annoying monstrosity of a animatronic display above the shop. Original review 2017: Had the haddock and chips, the haddock was bloody huge! But very wet and dripping with a mix of fat and juices. Also I bought a muffin/bap/cob to have with my chips and it was very stale. Chips were okay but nothing special. But pricing wasn't too bad

Trawlers Catch has massively gone down hill since it opened ,,I came here and the Mrs went to Papas round the corner so we had a fish off ,,,,,,,, I had haddock and chips and curry sauce. The chips were rubbish,, white with no taste ?? The fish was just ok and the curry was just ok . Round the corner the Mrs has cod and chips that just seemed far better in quality and everything else,, Trawlers Catch has just gone down hill since they opened , the fish isn't as good as it once was it's poor ,,, there's better now in skeg than this place . The picture I've put on Trawlers Catch is on the right , papas is on the left , what looks best.....

Good fish and chips the best I’ve had in Skegness for a long time. And there open quite late. Very good portions I had to eat a quarter of my fish just to get to the chips 😂. A very good menu with lots of choice. All at a reasonable price. Children’s meal £1.99. Inc a drink excellent value. The staff are constantly cleaning the tables and tidying up. There is a steep ramp into the premises but it’s well worth the effort. Toilets are a bit of a trek but clean and tidy.
