If it was possible, I would give this place a rating of 10! My mum and I were visiting Burton for the weekend from London to visit Alton Towers and were staying at St George’s Park Hotel just outside of the area. We asked the concierge for any halal food places in the area and they recommended Monmos. We decided to order the Chicken Chow Mein Noodles, chicken shawarma wrap, mixed sizzler and chips and the food was exceptional. The food had amazing taste and felt like we were eating home cooked food! The service provided by the waiters (Usman and team) was exceptional. We were both made to feel very comfortable and welcome. We were shocked at how inexpensive the pricing of the food for how much you get. We were so wowed over by the food, we extended our thanks to the waiters and the Head Chef (Kamran), who came out from the kitchen to greet us. This wonderful man was kind enough to make us feel even more welcomed and upon praising the taste of his secret marinade, he went away to generously prepare 3 different marinades for us to take home back to London!! We were so impressed with both the service and the food, we returned the next evening and ordered the exact same food! We had a wonderful stay in Burton and it was all due to Monmos! We recently traveled all the way from London to try Monmos Peri Peri Grill in Burton, and it was absolutely worth the journey! We were a group of eight, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality.

The food was outstanding. Every dish we tried was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The peri peri chicken was especially delicious, with just the right amount of spice. The sides were also top-notch, complementing the main dishes perfectly.

What really stood out to us, besides the excellent food, was the fast and efficient service. Even though the restaurant was busy, our meals were served quickly and with a smile.

To top it all off, the restaurant owner went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He generously offered free dessert and drinks to our children, which was a delightful surprise and a kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

Absolutely gob smacked! I have been ordering from this take away for years. Today I have rang up to order as usual and awaited for the food to arrive, to a delivery driver telling me this take away do not deliver to my address, we’ll that’s odd your here now and have been here umpteen times before. Opened the bag to find half the order missing for my guests. Not too much of a deal breaker as we all make mistakes ect ect rang up to sort the order, to most rood unapologetic, argumentative member of staff on the phone (shaz) absolutely taken a back after being told I was in the wrong as I didn’t order what I know I did !!!! Excuse me !!! Really unhelpful and not willing to rectify this issue I then went on to reason that i would come to collect but then went on to tell me I was now placed into another hours que. absolute waste of time totally appalled by the lack of customer care, empathy and disregard. Do not bother I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE...
