Really nice park. Went to the nearly festival with family and really enjoyed ourselves. Grab some duck and squirrel food from the small high street outside the park to feed the wildlife. Great place for a festival. And great for a day out with a picnic

We often have drinks and snacks while we are out walking our dog Molly, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the sausage rolls are excellent according to my husband (I'm a vegetarian).

Went to see if the café was open at around 4.20, very rude man stood behind the counter looking at his phone ignoring us. Eventually I said "are you still open?" (There were customers drinking tea etc outside) he eventually looked up and said "Not really we're packing up" then went back to looking at his phone. Woman clearing up stared at us. There's a small shop selling scarves and gifts which are quite nice in the shop, but the surly staff would put me off. (I hope this is the right café as Google sent me to this title, it's the one nearest the road next to the water). Went over the road to the little "Fancy Cakes" tearoom in the end, where the staff were absolutely lovely and the cake...

Left quite disappointed. We ordered a couple of breakfasts and were told it would be a half hour wait, which was fine. In the end it took over 50 minutes and when it did arrive it was pretty bland. Bacon was under cooked a very fatty. Bacon baguette could only be described as being in a sad state. For the cost of what we bought I would expect better quality and in terms of wait time the place was at about 50% capacity, so who knows what it's like when it's really busy. It's a shame because the setting is really nice as is the...

Unfortunately I find this cafe very cramped (as I'm of the larger persuasion) and if you want service outside you can have quite a wait on your hands. If your using the cafe for food the quality I have always found to be of a decent standard. I do like to see teenagers working as I believe it grows character and confidence etc etc but if as in the past the staff is mainly teenagers it can cause its own problems when it comes to customer care. Nice place to use but I feel it...
