Title: Served Rotten—Then Gaslit. One of the Worst Experiences I've Ever Had I wouldn’t normally write a review, but this experience was so disturbing it demands to be shared. A mouldy, rotten tomato was served with my dish. It wasn’t borderline—it was clearly decomposing. No staff attended our table mid-meal, and the only reaction came after I raised the issue when the bill was presented. What followed was nothing short of disgraceful. The manager accused me of harassing staff for simply asking why I was still being charged in full for food that was clearly contaminated. She was dismissive, condescending, and incompetent in addressing a serious food safety concern. The matter escalated. The police were called due to the manager’s handling of the situation. I formally requested CCTV footage of both the chef and my table, only to be told that—unsurprisingly—**the footage had been deleted. I contacted Food Standards, and they confirmed this was “an isolated incident,” which only deepens my concern. If isolated, why my table? Was this deliberate, targeted, or simply symptomatic of deeper negligence? There was no apology. No accountability. No refund. Just rotten food and insult. Avoid this place at all costs. They don’t just serve mould—they serve gaslighting and contempt.

After ordering Tavuk Kanat online, we decided that we have to dine-in in this place. The restaurant may not look so appealing from outside, but what a fantastic place inside. I love the decor at every corner, even in the toilet! The staff were nice and friendly. We were sat by the window overlooking the lake opposite which was the best spot, I guess. It was a busy Friday night, the restaurant was full and our food understandably came a little slow. The food was fantastic we ordered house sish kebab and some side dishes which we forgot to take photos of because we were too busy enjoying the food. No need to book a flight to Turkiye for turkish food, I would highly recommend this place and would go back if I happened to be in the area again.

This was a wee surprise find whilst on holiday the area. When we arrived we were met by friendly staff and quickly seated, menus provided and after a few minutes a drinks order was taken and some complimentary bread, dips and grilled onion and pomegranate molasses were provided. The menu is pretty good covering all the favourites, the food itself was nicely cooked, well presented and really very very tasty. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and very professional. The dining room is relaxed and comfortable with great views over the broads. We had a great meal in a nice relaxed atmosphere and can wholly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

The greatest restaurant within the local area by far. We previously used to go to their restaurant in Lowestoft and genuinely loved it there, but when the restaurant closed myself and my family were really upset as we own a holiday home nearby and we were always delighted with the quality of the food and service there. We felt it was such a shame as the food was by the best in this part of Norfolk/ Suffolk. Thankfully, they are back to their former glory with stunning views across Oulton Broad. We have tonight had the cold and hot Mezze then followed with the Shish Special for 4-5 people and just wow! The food was sublime the charcoal grilled selection of beautiful meats served on an abundance of fluffy perfect rice we were taken back from the first bite. Highly recommended seriously you will not regret eating here and genuinely you will also find your favourite Turkish restaurant anywhere in the UK and more than likely your favourite Restaurant in this part of the UK full stop. Seriously give it a try and...

Very good friendly staff. Lovely warm restaurant nice ambience. Good buzz and plenty of other diners. We had the hot mixed mezze at £20 for 4 people which was definitely good value for money. Sadly the falafel was dry and over cooked but the calamari was perfect. I enquired if the hummus was mass produced or home made. Sadly it was mass produced which is a shame as I would have hoped it would be homemade as it's a Turkish staple which is in every restaurant. The main course was seasoned lamb and was absolutely gorgeous. I shared it with my son as the portion was ample. He agreed the lamb was exceptional. Service was very good and I have given a 4/5 with a point missing for the sloppy cooking of my starter and the hummus from a catering jar. I would recommend the restaurant and I will go again when I am next in...
