We decided to celebrate finishing the Seven Sister cliff walk to Eastbourne by eating Thai food. This place needs reservations on weekends as it was fully booked, and this comes with no surprise as the food was well and truly, mouth watering. We had the tofu massaman curry, which was sweet, veg pad Thai, tofu green curry (which was a little spicy despite requesting it to be mild) and papaya salad. It was thoughtful indeed that each dish had the option to have meat or vegetables, could be made to the spice preference of the person & and were also highlighted if gluten-free. The decor inside was lovely and instantly made you feel like you're in a local restaurant in Thailand. The servers were very efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and pre-book is a must to avoid disappointment!

We visited Sabaidee yesterday evening (21/09/2023) for a birthday and pre-show meal. We ordered cocktails - Singapore Sling and a Mai Thai. Both were made to a high standard and were very easy to drink(!) We had starters of fried squid and Tom Yum soup. The squid was so soft and fresh, and the Tom Yum was fragrant and delicious. For our main course, I had the duck curry, and my partner had Weeping Tiger beef, along with egg fried rice and a coconut rice. Stunning and genuine Thai food, no food was left at the end (eventhough we were full) because the food was just too good! A wonderful Thai restaurant in walking distance of the Congress Theatre. Very quick service, along with lovely hosts. Thank you all.

Absolutely fabulous Thai food. We had a great meal, starter of greenlip mussels with lemon grass and coconut was delicious and the crispy duck with deep-fried vermicelli rice noodles tasted heavenly. We ordered a bottle of Monsoon Valley Thai white wine with it which was a perfect accompaniment to the food. It is a fresh and fragrant dry white which is perfect to refresh the palate after a mouthful of deliciously spicy food. The service was great, personal without being intrusive. A 3 course meal with a bottle of wine and coffees came to just over £80, which is definitely great value for a fantastic dinner!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sabaidee Thai Restaurant in Eastbourne and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing the authentic flavors of Thailand.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions.

The menu at Sabaidee Thai Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, each bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries, aromatic stir-fries, or refreshing salads, there is something for everyone. The quality of the ingredients used was evident in every bite, and the portion sizes were generous.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a meal with friends or a romantic dinner. The attention to detail in the decor added to the overall charm of the place.

Overall, I highly recommend Sabaidee Thai Restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of great Thai food, excellent service, and friendly staff make it a standout choice in Eastbourne. I will definitely be returning to indulge in more of their...

My arrival in Eastbourne for a three night business stay was late and therefore I didn't get to Sabaidee much before 10pm. None-the-less the restaurant was open and the staff (and chef) willing to serve. That said, I wasn't the only customer at this hour.

I chose the mushroom Tom Yum soup which was more spicy than my regular Thai restaurant but as someone who enjoys spice there was nothing wrong with that! I had the Pad Thai noodles with king prawns for main but of note was the service between the main courses...

Clearly I had walked in too late for the chef's liking as, before I had finished my Tom Yum soup, the waitress came up to me suggesting I'd like my main. This was a big mistake.

It was obvious the chef had suggested the waitress approach me with the idea I'd like my noodles before I'd finished my soup. He just wanted to clear up and go home. If that were the case, I should have been told they were closed before I was welcomed in.

On this basis alone, Sabaidee Thai lose one of the five Google stars for poor service: If you accept a diner through your door to eat at 10pm, treat them as you...
