Very disappointing breakfast/brunch. The place is nice and clean and the female server was nice but the food lacks so much. I wasn’t sure if I was eating bread or toast (1 slice) I had a barely cooked half tomato on my ‘Jane’s breakfast’ the whole plate was barely warm and there were only 3 other occupied tables at the time so it wasn’t down to being rushed. My friend had orange juice so bitter she couldn’t drink it and another had ordered hash browns and didn’t receive them. It’s a shame when you pay over £10 in a place with huge potential but the food is so meh. Actual toasted toast and maybe offer two slices would be nice as there are two eggs, add some colour with some leaves or a lime for the avocado perhaps, and season the food or offer chilli flakes, sesame seeds of something to enhance flavour and to lift the plate. A greasy spoon would have given better portions been hot and cheaper i imagine. I expected more from a European restaurant. Thanks for responding. I don’t think £10.95 is expensive for brunch, but I expected more for that. If we were asked for allergies we would have said none. I’m attaching a picture of a brunch I recently ordered locally for £18 - it looks visually appealing and was flavourful. Some garnish and seasoning would make a big difference. I hope you find it helpful.

We went to Hampton Court last Saturday, and we've decided to have something to eat at Henry's Kitchen. We were outside as we brought our dog... We ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 coffee and tea. The tea and coffee came in 2 minutes, but our sandwiches never came. So we decided to go inside and ask what was happening as we were the only customers seated outside. After apologies, we've been told that they were looking for us inside the restaurant, but no one went outside to check our table even after 30 min outside "enjoying" coffee and tea. Finally, our sandwiches came: one right and the other one totally wrong. I mean, a sandwich different than what it was ordered... someone came to apologize again and offer to do the right order in 2 min, which I refused, obviously. More apologies and bla bla bla... I was so disappointed and upset that I just asked for the bill to leave that place as soon as possible. They didn't charge us for anything, even when I said that I wasn't looking for anything for free. I just wanted to have my coffee and my sandwich, but it didn't work. I'm totally disappointed! Definitely, it's not a place that I would go back!

One of our favourite spots in East Molesey We absolutely love Henry’s Kitchen. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and cosy — the kind of place that makes you feel at home straight away. The food is consistently excellent. I’ve had a lot of burgers over the years, but Ann’s Burger here is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything is fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavour. The owner is lovely as well — really friendly and clearly cares about his customers. On one visit, he even brought us a slice of cake on the house after our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. We usually come by after a long dog walk and sit outside with our dog. It’s a great dog-friendly spot, and it’s always a treat to sit in the sun with one of their coffees — which, by the way, is genuinely very good. It's become a bit of a post-walk tradition for us. All in all, Henry’s Kitchen is a gem. Great food, great coffee, lovely people — highly recommend it.

I went to Henry's Kitchen last Saturday with 2 other friends to celebrate one of my friend's birthday. Such a shame we chose this place. One of my friend's ordered a breakfast dish called: "Henry's Breakfast", which is a ham and cheese sandwich dipped in egg and pan fried. We were expecting a sandwich, of course, but not the one we got. It was a normal sandwich we could have made at home, for less than £ 2. The dish was £ 8,25 at the restaurant. We called the waitress to speak to her about it, but we didn't have the intention not to pay for it, just wanted to tell them so they could maybe improve the dish for a next customer. It was a constructive criticism. She apologized and soon after the manager came to speak to us about it. He asked us what happened and we again, politely told him our disappointment with the dish. Instead of understanding and apologizing for what happened (something I do with my customers, as I also have a business), he rudely started saying the price was normal, as the area was expensive, and saying he wasn't going to remove the amount from the bill. I politely again said we weren't asking for him to remove the sandwich from the bill, but just wanted to tell them we weren't happy with the dish (we expected them to be thankful for the feedback). The manager continue to talk and speak over me and always very defensive and annoyed.

We ended up leaving the restaurant , paying a lot of money for a very average food and not being treated well as customers. I don't recommend going to...

We visited in order to try some of the vegan options. I had the Mexican black bean burger and my partner had the Stroganoff. Both had mediocre flavour. The Stroganoff portion was too small. The fries/chips were good.

Even if the food was amazing, I would still avoid this establishment in future, purely based on the fact that they try to greenwash & humanewash their image by claiming that they 'manage the social and environmental impacts of its operation and therefore make a 'huge' difference on issues such as climate change, animal welfare...'

They talk about 'combating climate change by keeping our carbon footprint on the small side.', 'ethical and responsible sourcing' and 'sustainability' and a collection of other popular buzz-words including the most ridiculous 'Ethical meat and dairy'.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ETHICAL 'MEAT' AND DAIRY. Enslaving sentient beings to be (ab)used as food is the opposite of ethical. You wouldn't want it done to you, so don't do it to them.

Animal agriculture is the leading cause of species extinction, ocean dead zones, water pollution, habitat destruction, deforestation & human-wildlife conflict, and is one of the leading causes of our climate emergency. Claims about 'responsible / sustainable / organic / high-welfare / humane / regenerative' and so on, are completely empty and are aimed at helping people feel good about doing an inherently bad thing.

You want to be truly sustainable, responsible and ethical? Stop using animals. Go plant-based, or, better...

Oh my what has happened to this place? Used to be lovely food & welcoming service - used to be regular customers but not been due a long while. We popped by whilst on a walk really happy to find a table in the spring sunshine!

It took about 10 minutes to get a waiter’s service. Everyone had left the other tables by the time we received any food - which finally arrived after about 20 mins for a simple sandwich - drinks didn’t appear at all. Notho g arrived. Went inside to politely ask where the drinks were…rather rude mid of the head and dismissive wave of the hand & very short reply “it’s coming in a Minute”!! Just quite rude.

Drinks came but not what we actually ordered… Drinks were changed - no apology. Just wanted to leave - asked for bill. 15 mins later still waiting. Had to get up again and ask for the bill! …we were very close to just leaving at this point as fed up. Went into bar to pay. Paid but no acknowledgement not even a thank you or a smile either - not surprising at all as the waiter barely said two words throughout or smiled! Just grunted at us.

Very disappointing experience & just can’t recommend to anyone any more - as has gone right downhill - thinking there must be new owners or staff. Used to be so lovely. Shame - but we’ll go elsewhere next time. Top tip - Must try harder to be welcoming to customers & clear the empty tables & maybe write orders down to avoid mistakes? Note no replies to disappointed...
