I would go as far as saying this is the worst Thai restaurant i have experienced for quality of food, service and value. We live locally and like to support the local businesses so we decided to try this restaurant this week. From the moment we walked in, the waiting staff were rude and abrupt which immediately made us feel uncomfortable. The menu is extremely wide, which should have been a warning sign; it is simply not possible for them to cook all 40-ish dishes from fresh in such a small kitchen, serving around 5 diners that evening. They charge you for rice per person- I appreciate that they are a small business, but they shouldn’t scam their customers by insisting that you order one portion of rice per person (which in fact is large enough for two people) ! If you order jasmine rice, you will be presented with sticky rice- no element of jasmine. We initially thought that they had made a mistake with our order however on inquiry, the waitress told us that plain rice was the same as jasmine rice. She got very annoyed with us when we suggested that they should just call it plain rice. Avoid the chicken- it isn’t fresh and made with poor quality meat and avoid the chilli tofu which was nothing more than a lazy attempt at a dish (tofu thrown into a soapy, diluted soy sauce with a few chili flakes sprinkled for garnish). The experience left us with a stale oil film in our mouths. We look forward to eating out because it is not something we do every day so this was a huge disappointment. Do yourselves a favour and go to one of the many other restaurants on or around...
Read moreI like asian food especially Thai and Chinese and l eat very often wherever l go. In this restaurant l ordered soup and padthai. While l was ordering the prawn pad thai, the waitress told me you want seafood pad thai. I thought in prawn pad thai it was mix seafood. So l said yes please. At the end when l paid the bill l saw that pad thai price went £4 up. I asked the waitress that there was no price £11.50 on the menu. The pad thai price was just £7.50 on the menu. She came to the table and said she added £4 because l wanted seafood pad thai. The first time l had this kind of problem in restaurants. Really disappointed for me. You should be careful before ordering food or drink in this restaurant! And plus the coffee was just ready jar coffee and l couldn’t...
Read morevisited this restaurant for lunch and was thoroughly impressed! If you’re looking for an authentic Thai dining experience, I highly recommend it. One dish you must try is the Tom Saab (stewed beef), which is incredibly tender and flavorful—it's like eating in Thailand itself.
Another standout dish is the Tamarind Duck, which has a crispy outside and a soft, juicy inside. The flavors are perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious.
Don’t miss the Pla Goong (grilled king prawns salad)—it’s to die for! The prawns are fresh off the grill, and the spicy sauce adds the perfect kick.
My family often dines here because the food is consistently fantastic, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. You definitely won’t be disappointed! Good...
